Sounds like there is just about gonna be a whole new Sandy side.
I’m happy with that. Watched quite a few of their games on tv this year and let me tell you it was hard going most of the time.

He looked solid in the one VFL game he played last season

Hoping he can take another step and potentially be the Sandy rookie to replace Howard
Are we going to have to spend the next however many months calling any tall player who breathes a Howard replacement?

Voss is an undrafted kid who signed up for the VFL. Calling him a potential replacement for a best 22 AFL full back is being silly.

True we never should’ve considered drafting Callum Wilkie ffs

People will take any opportunity to pot Dougal. Sad behaviour IMO.

I’ve been a Dougal fan since day 1 and never dropped my support but realistically he only has 1-2 years left in him. His body is pretty cooked
Dougal was cooked at training on Monday, when he was running in the very hot weather he was bent over at a nearly 90 degree angle. Eventually he dropped to his knees and donated his breakfast to the manicured lawn.

To his credit he got back up and continued to do his running drills, still at a funny angle.

How is it a jump at all? Wilkie was just an undrafted SANFL player when we took him, and he wasn’t even tall at 191cm
Wilkie had just won a best and fairest in a premiership year when he was drafted. This kid has just taken his polo out of the plastic and done one training session.

Shouldn't be difficult to see the difference there.

He played as an over age tall forward/ruckman for the Dragons this year. He showed a bit at times and is a tall who may develop into an AFL player over time.

Bloody hope not!!

The way he is looking at training sessions & match sim he may well start the year, particularly if the club are really keen to play Marshall forward. If that occurs and he shows something I will have to concede that I was very wrong in my assessment of his abilities at the next level. I hope that he does do well now he is on the list, what a find that would be.
