Gameday in Tassie. Looks like the weather for Hobart is expected to be cloudy, around 14 degrees for our game, and the winds moderating to minimal.
This is a "must win" game for GWS. Not to "keep finals hopes alive", as they're realistically not (even with a win here), but to actually be able to take some positives from this season. Despite our "brave" showings and (except for the Collingwood game) not losing by too much, ongoing losses would be detrimental to our developmental. And it's not a lay down misere that we'll win. Despite being second last on the ladder, Norths have actually improved under caretaker coach Ratten, and have played pretty decent football the last two outings. If we're not actually playing at our best and converting chances to goals (arguably our problem against Tigers last week), then there's a good chance that we'll get rolled. Hopefully not.
Go Giants!
