With both their contracts ending this year, I think we should at least give these original Giants an extension of at least a year.

Unless they both have a massive turnaround in form I can't see it happening. Ward will be 35 next year, and very few can sustain high performance at that age (Pendlebury seems to be the exception).

Nick looks so slow and you can see why he was overlooked when the injury toll wasn't so bad.

The original Giant nostalgia is nice but 2012 is a long time ago now.

Sadly I think Ward and Haynes have played one year too many.

Even at his best Haynes was shaky when he found himself on a speedy small forward and the ball was on the ground.
The defensive group was too tall against the Hawks resulting in some ugly matchups.
Still may be his last year, but surely could be used better.
