When you lose your phone around the house and you ask your significant other to call it, then you find it, you should always look at it and say “UGH missed call, what the **** does she want?”

The best part of losing your phone is the moment you realise your phone is always on silent and ringing it isn't gonna do any good

Use the find lost phone function and trigger and alarm. It circumvents the silent function and is a sharper sound so it's easier to narrow down the location.

I’ve never even done it that bad! And my phone is literally never not on silent.

I'm no hardcore cricket fanatic, so can someone explain what exactly is the issue with the stumping? He literally walked straight out of his crease before the ball had even landed in the keepers hands? I don't know on what grounds that tried to challenge it, or complain about it's integrity?

Because they tried it and it didnt work earlier in the game. How dare some Colonial do something they couldn't.

There's literally nothing wrong with it. Carey collected the ball and threw at the stumps in one motion, the timing was so good that when he threw it, Bairstow was still technically in, and it hit the stumps right at the point his foot lifted out of the crease. The ball isn't dead until its dead and you'd think a keeper would be more aware of that than any other batsman.

The best bit is that Carey had noticed him leaving his crease early throughout the over so he exploited a weakness with devastating effect.

Shame cause I don't mind Bairstow, tubby ranga that he is. Think there was an Ashes a few series' ago and he was basically the only pom to offer any resistance.

England Media and the England camp doing their best to keep this controversy alive and distract from the fact they're one test away from losing at home for the first time in 22 years

The devil’s advocate position is that Bairstow marked his crease with his foot after he left the ball and therefore had a good faith assumption that the ball was dead. This is, of course, twaddle because the umpires hadn’t called over and the Australian team had a good faith assumption that the ball was alive.

Bairstow would simply not have left his crease that early if he has been facing a spin bowler with the keeper right up against the stumps.

Carey threw the ball while Bairstow's foot was behind the line - the ball was still clearly in play. He was dumb to not even look behind him before wandering out of his crease. The whole England reaction has been on the level of toddlers.

Every ashes series in England they find something to create drama about so they whip their crowds up into a frenzy to try and intimidate Australia out of games. They don't give a shit about sportsmanship.

I hate their barmy army bullshit - sing a lame song, give themselves a standing ovation, then turn their attention to choreographed abuse for 7 hours. ****ing w***ers
