DRAFT NOTES
I think we should be drafting at least two talls in this draft, possibly three.
I love Bo Allan and would trade up for him in a heartbeat.
I also love Taj Hotton and would grab him with our first pick.
Happy to pick up Tobie Travaglia with our first pick.
We have to seriously think about picking a key forward with our first pick and Shanahan will be there. He has excellent form in the VFL and so could be readyish to play early. It would set up our forward line for 10 years.
I don't mind trading down our first pick for two later picks if the List Management guys have blokes they are keen on.
We need to pick up a key defender. The cupboard is bare.
I really like Clancy Dennis and Jame Barrat for key defenders with a later picks.
I love Luke Trainor but am concerned with concussions.
Ollie Hannaford is too good to pass up.
Jesse Dattoli is also pretty good to pass on as well.
I like Cooper Hynes.
I like Hamish Davis.
I'm warming to Angus Clarke a fair bit.
For tall forward, 2nd ruck types I like Kayle Gerreyn and I really like Thomas Sims. I don't know whether we would take a 2nd ruck type that early.
I'm happy to have a quick small forward for the NGA in Benny Barrett.
I also have a really good feeling for Rome Burgoyne but he might take a while to get going.
I'm happy to go with tall potential or x factor or even a half back flanker with a penetrating kick. I wouldn't Ned Bowman just because of that mark but Gabriel Stumpf, Charlie Nicholls, etc is cool too.
