The devil’s advocate position is that Bairstow marked his crease with his foot after he left the ball and therefore had a good faith assumption that the ball was dead. This is, of course, twaddle because the umpires hadn’t called over and the Australian team had a good faith assumption that the ball was alive.

Bairstow would simply not have left his crease that early if he has been facing a spin bowler with the keeper right up against the stumps.

Lol if we are playing backyard cricket rules, Stokes 6 and out means he was back in the shed about 100 runs earlier.

If its not against the rules, it's fair game as far as I'm concerned. If it's wrong, regulate against it. Till then, it's fine.

It wasn't even close to being a dead ball, Carey threw it straight back, it was one action from catch to throw to use AFL parlance.

Maybe wait more than 1.5 seconds after you miss the ball before going for a stroll?

As a kid I was self conscious for a while about my total lack of drawing ability because my step sister of the same age was (and is) very talented in that regard.

I used to borrow those “how to draw” books from the library and the above is not far off how ridiculously clueless they were. People who can draw really have no understanding of those of us who can’t.

Lol reminds me of a time when I was in Melbourne many years ago and was trying to find a road. I went into a fish and chip shop to ask directions and the owner was this guy who looked like he could be Dipper's dad, didn't speak much English, but drew me a superb map on chip wrapping paper and sent me on my way.

Blokes that look like that make awesome fish and chips too.

Cricket is dumb. The rules don't exist in some vacuum separate to the 'spirit of the game'. They can be changed. If what the Aussie guy did is somehow unacceptable, make a rule against it. Unless and until there's a rule against it, it's obviously deemed to be acceptable.

And all of the things that were allowed in the rules but clearly against the spirit of the game
Bodyline, underarm ect

The rules get changed straight away
Nothing will change with the Bairstow dismissal

You should always glance back to the keeper before you wander.. junior cricket stuff

Are you sure it's not just showing old posts? It's not even on the Google Play Store anymore
Yeah showing current events like the AFLW player with CTE.
Does yours not open or did you delete?
