Optimistic to think that the club would be as transparent as to announce delistings that soon after the end of the season.
Pretty clear most of the unsigned fringe players will be delisted, or demoted to the rookie list if they aren't already on it.
The club needs to need turnover 5-7 spots minimum every year and the AFL still hasn't given us the 2 main list spots they took during Covid.
Unlikely to happen now with 1-2 new teams to be introduced in the next 4+ years.

You can focus on the snide comment he made … or perhaps look at the 4 statistics they showed afterwards that’s show us so far below North, let alone the top sides, in every category…

Stoppage score diiff/:
17 North -188
18 Eagles - 703

Contested Possession diff
17 North -204
18 Eagles -403

Inside 50s Diff
17 North -275
18 Eagles - 331
Ouch.

To be 400% worse than the second worst team for stoppage score differential, twice as bad for contested possessions and 20% worse at I50's shows how far off the pace we are.

One thing it does show is that O Allen is a gun. To kick what he did with such limited supply is quite remarkable.

The other thing it shows is that our mids are our greatest need.
especially those that can win their own ball.

Another area where Eagles are showing considerable weakness versus the Kangaroos. We have three less letters in our name! Further proof of a club that has let standards slip.

What this shows is just how poor around stoppage and contest the club has been this year.

And yet despite that, North still didn't manage to win any more games than West Coast did.

Imagine what the club's position would have been had it conceded 500 less points from stoppage this season.

Those statistics can be just as easily viewed to highlight just how rapidly and significantly on-field outcomes for West Coast will improve once the gaping hole in the midfield is addressed via trade and draft.
Stoppage score differential is a whole ground problem. Improving stoppage performance is only part of reducing scoring from stoppages.

He wasn't wrong though. McGovern had a nightmare of a game... was almost certainly playing injured and very sore. But it beggars belief he was given a 2-year extension... particularly a guy with his injury history.
McGovern was in AA form prior to sustaining a contact injury in 2022.

Suma going after Nic Nat for not being dressed in an Eagles uniform on Saturday night on sportsfm. Good enough for Buddy good enough for him.

Also not at all happy with McGoverns lack of defending on Saturday night.

I could easily imagine you and Sumich meeting up weekly to complain about stuff.
