Few players starting to make their reputations at the pointy end of the season. Big shout outs to Kemp, Cottrell, Martin, Cincotta, Marchbank and Acres in particular.

None would have been thought match winners before the game, all played significant roles.

Congrats on your win. It's been a pretty rough 25 years for your club since the AFL, essentially, scorched earth your entire club & culture. Hearing that deep "WEEEEE ARRREEE...." boom from the crowd was a sound i hadn't heard since Kouta still ruled the earth. You can feel the emotion in the fans watching at the game in the crowd, how much it meant to them. Thats when footy is at its best.

Congrats & enjoy this moment, you dirty rotten bastards

Blake Acres was sensational....that is why they got him. Saved 2 goals and kicked the last one

We didn't play the best we have, we played well enough. We needed a hard game like that though.

10 years since our last final, we beat the last team we played in a final.

We will be talking about how we played tonight. Was it the Swans who kept us out of the middle and stopped a lot of our break away from contests or are we not there yet?

Swans played above themselves and were unlucky they did not kick accurately.

Thought our forward line was the area that let us down a bit but I think our ball movement went back in its shell a bit.

No fear next week? How do we approach the Deas?

This was not our grand final and that has to be the message, it was just game 1.
