Hamish, Hamish, Hamish, different love for different brothers.

Obviously Andy has outpointed him in too many backyard games.

Changed his tune from 2018.
The difference is he has no connection to Collingwood so nothing to lose. He wasn’t game to say anything re Gaff as he was desperate to stay on a AFL list with WC. Selective outrage.

Bit of a rough spot for him though. Was a contracted West Coast player, not much he could've done.

Here's the question. If Maynard was in an identical situation- playing a scratch match against his Collingwood team mates - would he drop the shoulder and clean them up?

I think we all know the answer.

He should get weeks - but this is the VaFL.

first few minutes of this from Caro is absolute fire

I lost it (laughter) at “the flowers didn’t make it into a vase” 😂😂😂😂
Sorry I know it’s a serious issue but still.
I thought David Mundy summed this situation up best the other day on the radio. Trust him to be a champion bloke and not parrot the same crap as cornes and hodge and all the other ex pros.

How is the form of Michael Christian? Decided that Maynard had no case to answer (gee, what a surprise), and now is threatening to quit over the incident being referred to the tribunal. Demanded his name be left out of the press release on the decision. Call his bluff and tell him to pack his bags.

What a joke. A real man doesn't 'threaten' to quit. That is so lame. Either quit or STFU.

His job will be taken by an AI shortly anyway, it's built to compare incidents and match outcomes to known examples.

But the AFL would not like AI to give the tribunal the tools to make consistent outcomes. They prefer the smoke and mirrors method to come up with whatever result suits their agenda.

They'll just irrationally change the rules to keep it guessing.

I think it's hard to disagree with Mundy. And he's played basically more AFL than just about anyone else and in the 'modern era'.

No way that shoulder is being buried into the kicker's head if he's wearing the prison bars (except maybe Ginnivan).

Just say if this was last year against Collingwood in the semi final and Andy got knocked out the way Angus did in the first 5 mins by manyard.

We will be wanting blood let's be honest.

I agree if it was round 3 he gets 2 weeks and everyone moves on.

Because it's finals we hear the argument this player doesn't deserve to miss a final or GF over something like this.

If he is found guilty Collingwood will take it to the appeals tribunal. And will drag on for another week I would say.

Watch Maynard get off this
Collingwood /Carlton Grand Final would be a VAFL wet dream
Both clubs KCs will be working over time already with their appeals.
Maynard, with the intervention nof the newly appointed head of football, will be lucky if his penalty is only two weeks.
Martins two will stand, until the KC brings in a legal technicality, then like another previous Carlton player, he will get off.
