Has to be Lever, but even then I think off the field he likes to joke around a bit too much also. Sparrow seems far too quiet to be captain material. Im never been inspired by anything ive heard him say when I do hear him speak.

Yeah I don't think we have anyone who captains with presence. Mays probably that guy who scares people around the club but it won't be him. Lever looks a great on field captian when he's not chucking tanties. Don't see any Jack Steele Callan Ward types coming through either

Yeah Lever is definitely first in line at this stage. Oliver will never be captain but hopefully this experience can bring him back down to earth a bit. Get the vibe Trac likes to think of himself as a leader but has no idea what it requires.

I just don't see Trac ever being the captain who pulls someone into a room and says you might not like me now but you'll ****ing respect what I say. Too busy doing a tic Tok dance playing Fifa with him

He's clearly a professional off field to the highest standard but I don't see him dragging others along with him

Outside of Lever, Brayshaw would be the next pick for me if he continues.

May is too much of a flog on the piss to be captain. Tearing into fringe players last year showed he wasn't up to it. I haven't seen his BnF speech so maybe the tone was a bit jokey but the whole 'we're a better side than Collingwood' is exactly the attitude I've hated seeing at the club over the past couple of years.

I hate it when he grabs the ball out of the ruck, and then tries to kick it whilst leaning back and off balance. he misses his foot 9 times out of 10.

Gawn would be better off just trying to belt the ball forward instead of thinking he's some sort of tap master. Love his work around the ground, it's elite, but he's not super at tapwork tbh. ImGibe NicNat at stoppages with Gawn's marking and aerobic capacity around the ground!! Simon Madden might be the best I've personally seen at both. If Kouta played ruck, he would've been best ever.

More so referring to what Vanders said, having a bit of respect for others, Gawn was very happy to trot out what he said to the group in our premiership year. Seems we have quickly gone back to what it was prior.

Yeah the best team in the comp doesn't lose straight sets finals 2 years in a row. What they should be saying is we understand we are just a middle of the road side now and we need to work hard and do alot right to get back to the level of the best

You're probably right but Brayshaw doesn't do much for me as captain. Also having a captain who is one head knock away from retirement seems pretty risky.

I can't say we're better than Collingwood with the amount of shit disposal users we have compared to them
Their best player is a model pro with the most beautiful disposal you've ever seen, ours is living on our captains couch.
