I think a high-mid 2nd round pick (19-25) seems right for Schultz. Hill is hard given we just gave up 2/5 of * all for him to GWS.

I don’t know anything about Schultz,but the response here had been overwhelmingly positive.It’s not often big footy posters are so positive about a recruit coming over from neither club.Usually it’s just the opposite.

Massively underrated player because he doesn’t play in front of Vic crowds (or eastern seaborne for that matter).

If you gave me a pick of any dockers player….based on our gamestyle…he’d be in my top 3.

If he played over here, he’d be considered in the same level as papley.
This gives us so many options to challenge players to take on a different role.
Or even challenge him to go in the middle occasionally.
Just very good list management and immediately helps limit the shift we’ll see starting end next year when we begin to lose old players.

Schultz is an interesting choice. Never rated him myself but it seems he steps into the half forward role?

Why don't you rate Schultz? I didn't a few years ago, but he really hits the scoreboard now. Alongside some really good physical pressure

The idea that Ginnivan will ever become a defensive mid option is a furphy. The Schultz acquisition should be a reminder to him that nothing is given, only earnt, least of all a spot in a team's best 22.

Murphy is on the record last pre-season as saying that Frampton coming in drove him to train harder for his spot. I hope Ginnivan has the same mindset. Some people here are thinking we shuffle the magnets to fit Ginnivan in no matter what, rather than the easier option - hope his off-season this year is more professional than last year's.
