Did you know West Coast did something against Melbourne that we have never done?
The only thing of note WC did today was keeping Melbourne goalless for a quarter. If that is it, it is incorrect, we have kept them goalless in a quarter six times, scoreless three times.

Has anybody got the audio of the girls singing the song after their win today? Not the video - as far as we know that doesn't exist. We just had vision of Hearts to hearts sitting on the grass instead.
My partner kept texting me saying Roaming (my name) is on the tv again.

Not that.

Melbourne have travelled to Tullamarine to fly to Perth to play West Coast as an away team more times than they have ever come to Arden St to play.

I don't know tbh. I like going there, and I like watching the games, but it's got edges that could be smoothed over. There was no exit available for the city end after the game - we were kettled by the players run being blocked despite the players being on the ground and there being no traffic. I don't know why they didn't open the fence at the entrance at that end, bloody daft. Almost like it was designed without a consideration for pedestrian traffic flow? Also, while the trees and the grass are cute, would be great to have some sort of stand available so those that want could sit in a seat (or on a bench) and watch the game. Saw Sonja directing the players coming off the ground to a young girl collecting autographs. She's solid. Crocker always looks like he's cracking a joke internally. Might have been O'Loughlin's best game for us thus far?
Usually once the game is over you can go through gaps in the fences on any side - today wasn’t great, I actually got out faster by going across the oval in the kick to kick than I would have waiting for the crowd to be let out past the race.

I hear what you're saying but once you are inside a club, these people that we all see and hate on the TV become human and likable, and like family. The experience of being inside a club instead of being a supporter/member seems to be so very different. I'm sure we'd all like to think we'd stick fat with North Melbourne, but the reality would be different.
Don't walk into David Noble's post game reviews.

Niamh Martin was a bit stiff a couple of times late in that qtr.

Umpires votes are in:

3. JHF
2. Mon Conti (one of the umps saw her in the crowd)
1. Anyone but Garner 😬
I did see Mon Conti at the game with her dad. We were stuck waiting while the players left the oval. Her dad is a North man and Mon was (I suspect secretly still is).

I’m pretty sure that lack of gate at the swimming pool end was a couple of new security guards not getting the memo. We’ve always been able to exit through the emergency exit once the game is over previously.

Yeah strangely the swimming pool end hill was designated as alcohol free, right next to the beer tent. The security guard approached me before the game, said he’d check with his supervisor and never returned.

Are her and Riddell the best midfield duo going around relative to both the AFL and AFLW? I don't know as much about the women's teams, but I'm struggling to think of another pair quite as dominant as what they consistently are in either competition. Seems like every week they're both in the goals and getting close to 30 touches, if not more. Amazing footballers.
It's hard to think of two better, both accumulate disposals and clearances at will and both do the defensive acts better than most mids as well.
It's not hard at all. 29yo Garner (5) and 27yo Riddell (2) have 7 AA selections between them.

Marinoff (5) and Hatchard (4), who are both 25yo, have 9 AA selections between them. They also did this last week in their win against the reigning premiers (who are a bit better than Port Adelaide):

The work is all ahead of our midfield duo to prove their superiority, i.e. there's a couple of upcoming games (and finals beyond that) where Riddell has to play much better than what she did against Melbourne last year... or Garner's gonna have to have some 50 & 3 performances to compensate.

So far the only time we've beaten Adelaide was when Kearney was still playing in the midfield, by the way.

I was watching the Adelaide v WB game on Friday night and Jason Bennett may as well have been wearing a Bulldogs scarf and beanie he was riding them that hard... Think the crap teams must just get sympathy commentary

Any chance to s**t on our players.
That’s just facts in answer to a question. Those Crows midfielders have beaten all comers and driven their team to flags. Emily Bates and Ally Anderson probably also in the conversation. Melbourne a pretty even spread but Paxman could probably be paired with a teammate too. The best play well against the best as well as feasting on the also-ran teams.

Jas and Ash are wonderful players who are having an amazing season (with Jenna and Mia). We can enjoy and celebrate that.

Bullshit. He shits on Garner any chance he gets.

2 time winner of the coaches award and currently leading it this year.

How many times have Hatchard or Marinoff won it? Big fat ****ing 0.

There are some facts for you.

Also I didn’t know until I watched the replay but the woman standing beside me at the fence, who got a footy and a hug from Jas Garner at the end, was Mo Hope’s sister Vinny - makes me happy to think about relationships continuing despite list changes.

You had the same cheesy grin from ear to ear mate. You must have enjoyed the game.
I loved it, and now my whole family can be amused for days watching me on their edited clips.
