Serious question. Do you know any women's sports that have been taken over by trans people winning everything? I think this is one of those issues that distracts people while they use inflation to make your lot poorer and while you're freaking out about dude's pissing in women's toilets you don't notice.

I don't remember seeing a trans person recently and I hang out where you'd think they be. It would take a big pair of balls to turn yourself into a female to win the Langwarrin women's volleyball tournament. The drugs would be worth more than the prize money for most women's sports.

Someone sent me the link. I watched the clip and thought it was funny. At no point did I think this is all part of a master plan to distract me from inflation.

Prophecies are like statistics, aren't they Yawkey Way? You can interpret them any way you need to fit your argument.

The situation is further aggravated by the extremists of the various Abrahamic/monotheistic religions, which seem determined to make the "end of days" type predictions self-fulfilling prophecies.

Only common sense, the innate decency of the vast majority of people, science, and secularism save us.

The end of days/world has been predicted in scripture from various faiths 642 times going back 5,000 years or so. From ancient Hindu and Egyptian texts to the aforementioned monotheistic faiths. Not to mention all the independent evangelist nutbags who have popped up over time.

So far, none of them have been right and are certain not to be for at least the next few billion years.

My daughter has gone crazy over her.
At least she puts a lot of work into her concerts, its sure as hell not an hour of lip syching like you get from some.
But she got shitty when i told her that Pink ( who she also likes ) is a better singer and doesn't use autotune.

It is a complete paradox. He believes the earth is only 6,000 years old and that man lived simultaneously with the dinosaurs.

Coincidentally, my surgeon for my open heart/bypass surgery had similar beliefs. He even asked me to pray with him just before the surgery. Didn't exactly fill me with confidence at the time!

Post-surgery he invited me to join a Bible study and discussion group. It was made up of about a dozen surgeons, doctors, their wives, and husbands.

All these highly educated, intelligent, and accomplished people believed the Bible was the literal word of god and that it was an accurate historical record of the earth and mankind. I was stunned, and no, I didn't join the group.

Not helpful when they make the article misleading though. I haven't seen any big events having trans athletes. There is a real issue with culture wars stuff where they try to divide people on these kinds of issues. It's like muslims were taking out Christmas away for ages. Most people aren't that far apart but they try to stoke the flames on both sides. The internet is a frontier where you get fed crazy s**t that inflames your moral sensibilities and you can get addicted to being outraged very easily.

Fair point. I've read heaps before the internet even and still keep up to date with geo politics. It's futile to get upset about any of it because you have **** all control over any of it. Don't think it's conspiracy to suggest that more atrocities have come from the west than anyone else but we think that we're the good guys. Religion, oil and money and you don't really need to read on. Usually using the others to justify the money though.

Anyway there's heaps there that isn't made up by Alex Jones types.

It is ridiculous and as long as you find it funny that's good for you. It's a non issue that they are trying to make huge and the danger is that it riles people and makes deranged people tip over the edge. Anything that promotes hatred towards other people in society is generally not great. Most trans people don't even play sport and just want to get on with their lives like anyone else. In the entire world there'd be **** all people that want to professionally compete in competitions as a trans. It's like freaking out about a plague of pandas if they let them have a couple at the Adelaide zoo.

I reckon Sanders and Corbyn were more my cup of tea. Trump is a true ****ing idiot, he's the clown face of a bunch of ultra rich and borderline corporations that is good theatre but he's hurrying the end for late stage capitalism and the US empire. He's like a wanna be dictator with ADHD that appeals to the poor and feeds the rich.

AOC is about the only progressive voice left in US politics these days. She's a bit nutty but she at least puts the brakes on some of the others. Anyway Biden looks like he should be tried for war crimes if he doesn't die first. He told Israel not to attack civilians and then when they did gave them the keys to the US arsenal and bunker busters to use on them. He's as complicit as Bibi.


Biden has absolutely stuffed it for the Democrats now. People under 30 hate him for his unwavering support for Israel's bombing of Gaza. Trump actually looks like the best option out of the republicans and if he stays out of jail he's probably winning easily.

I don't particularly think turning a blind eye to things because they're insignificant is a good way to go about it either. Yes a very small % of the population are trans and on the whole these issues are few and far between however they are still issues and we should be doing what we can to call it out when we see it.
