It's a big game a few weeks out. A few ponderings. Most importantly it's about staying healthy. MVP implications too. Can the D stop their spate of missed tackles (season high 15 against the Cards). How will we fare against a run dominate team.

Not ideal, more worried about the o-line injuries over the performance.

You don't win Superbowls in December and only a fool crowns them before they're actually won.

Let's see if we can adjust and take care of business the next two weeks before looking to match ups etc

You’re obviously right. It was just very worrying that a) Shanahan came out with what was imo a weird gameplan to rely on the passing game, and b) that Purdy was so poor against a top tier defense. Batted balls didn’t help, but he also had an almost certain interception dropped.

SB’s aren’t won in December, but I for one hope that someone else takes care of the Ravens as if they come out of the AFC I wouldn’t want to play them.

Game against the ravens just proves to me that this 49ers team aint winning the superbowl. Brock just isn't good enough against great d's the browns game was the same, our o-line is average at best and our coach is a ****ing moron who gets too cute for his own good.

It's a strange one. I don't think we could play this poorly again against the Ravens, they should have learned a lot from the loss, and are we going to have 5 turnovers again in a game?

As crap as we were we went in at halftime down 4 points, and getting the ball to start the 3rd, but within 3:30 we're down 18 and it's pretty much game over.

Not running the ball enough was a killer. Felt like Kyle was playing for a shootout early and it all fell apart with the picks.

There are many ways to digest that loss. It was an aberration, it was proof that the Ravens are the best team, it showed Purdy is terrible etc.

There’s probably a bit of everything. Early turnovers and a deficit means the game flips, so even though it was only a few points difference at half time and we had the ball to start the half, it still felt like the Ravens were well on top.

Shanahan coached poorly, putting the ball in Purdy’s hands almost exclusively in early drives is ****ing lunacy when the run game is so potent. That was arrogant and I hope he’s learned his lesson.

Equally, Purdy was absolutely atrocious. Play calling is not an excuse for multiple picks, and he never looked comfortable dropping back. Kudos to the Baltimore D, but he just had brain fades and poor decisions that will kill you against good teams.

I still think we’re the best team in the NFC, but today showed some significant flaws and I wouldn’t be confident against most of the top AFC defenses should we make the SB.

A difficult day, and now no margin for error in the next two weeks.

Terrible and disappointing loss but I'm not too worried.

Was probably as bad as we could have played. Gave away the ball 5 times, defense played horribly for the most part and still managed to kinda stick in the game v the best team.

They were pumped up for this game, a little like us v the Eagles and we just weren't ready

Purdy was poor but two interceptions were tipped balls and the last one his arm was hit as he threw it. Still poor but not ready to flick him on one game

The biggest concern is around the O line availability imo

It wasn’t the result that’s upsetting it is Still the same troubling issues we haven’t fixed that stop us getting us that Super Bowl win.

1. Poor o-line play especially if Trent misses a heap of time. Really worried about pass rush of lions, cowboys and eagles if Trent can’t go in playoffs.
2. Brock struggles against the good defences aka browns and ravens I blame this a lot of Kyle not helping him with solid game plan.
3. Kyle still can’t play call from behind and doesn’t game plan well against good teams. Why so pass heavy against ravens when we had cmc, makes no sense.

If these 3 aren’t fixed by the playoffs we ain’t winning it all.
