The first half was pretty ordinary viewing.

The second half has been a fair bit more engaging.

Into O/T we go...
It was just too stop start for mine. I've still been tuning in here and there though.

That’s the sport. As for the stop start nature of it with frequent lengthy breaks it’s far worse when you’re at the game without commentators analysing etc. Just noise and hoopla filling the time. BUT, as I said, that’s the game.

I noticed Valentino Rossi was driving in the Bathurst 12 hour today (was second at one stage , not sure where he finished). I would have thought the transition between bike and car would require significantly different skills? Pretty impressive

Wayne Gardner and Mick Doohan both did it.

I gave it another try (Swift effect) and now a) understand the basic rules and b) appreciate the level of skill involved much more than I did. The quarterbacks are freaks, to be calmly picking out passing options while massive opponents are barrelling towards them. Also that match was extraordinary with the clutch plays that took it into overtime and then the victory.

Having said that, footy is a much better game to watch. And I couldn’t get past the guys strutting around like they just won the game because they took an intercept or laid a tackle.

This guy complaining about 7 mins of added time when he is the one that extended it 💀 he jumped on the sponsors board and when he jumped off he rolled his ankle and continue to complain for a good 5 mins rolling on the floor💀

But a court in his home town Antwerp sentenced him to a year in jail, with a further 12 months suspended, on Friday morning.

Chair, 26, was also ordered to pay his victim £13,400 compensation for his injuries.

The news is a huge blow to QPR, who are battling against relegation to League One.

The trial heard Chair, his brother Jaber and friends got into an argument with the trucker in Bazeilles, northern France, in summer 2020.
They and the driver, named as Niels T, had been waiting for a bus back to Belgium after a kayaking trip.

Antwerp's public prosecutor told a January hearing: "According to many people involved, Ilias Chair lashed out at Niels T with a stone and knocked him unconscious.

"The consequences were dramatic for Niels T. He suffered a severe skull fracture, two centimetres long, and was taken to hospital at Reims in critical condition.

"Afterwards he had to recover for a long time in a Belgian hospital, and could not do his job as a lorry driver for a long time.

Li, 46, confessed to paying £330,000 in bribes to become manager of the Chinese national team.

He also admitted to playing a role in a match-fixing scandal to win promotions while in charge of Hebei China Fortuna and Wuhan Zall.
