His 100 games is nearly as embarrassing as another's 200. But the 'trend' continues, it's definitely not a cultural imperitave issue. No siree. Independent events, all of those alike.

I have no problem understanding players like Murphy play games. What I'll never understand is how he can be valued as if he has a meaningful positive influence on potential success. We lock in these fringevdwellers as if they're important cogs, but reality is that a half decent early 2nd rounder would bring little less week to week and potentially much more medium term.

Surely we are better to play someone else who might have the same current output who hasn't reached their ceiling.

For me a special Murphy highlight easily has to be when he didnt take the free kick after the siren in the Showdown, Im not sure if it was being unselfish or if he genuinely believed he couldnt do it.

Absolutely almost zero chance he kicks that.

Yes, if you haven’t worked it out yet I barely passed Matriculation English (Year 12 for those under the age of 50) - got a C. Those were the days, you failed the exam, you failed the subject.

Better at Maths 1 and 2 (Dux of the School in Year 12) and Chemistry - all A.

Murphy would be hoping for more than 11 disposals this week, especially considering he was playing around the ball last week.

He usually plays better at home then goes into invisible mode away.

Might be a thought to weed out these players since we have a big problem winning away.
