McDonald playing behind the footy is making hard to move it quickly. He is basically manoeuvring their defence around. At some stages they had two behind the ball .
Not a great game to watch as the life is being strangled out of it .

It shows why we have a bit to go yet as we struggle for n these types of games.

Separate before a ruck contest, yeah nah that rule doesn't exist anymore.
Two ruck contests with blocks on the rucks? Nothing.
Holding the ball? Optional this week.
Fending counting as prior? Nah that existed for a couple weeks.

All that to say the umps are horrendous.

But that doesn't excuse the effort. Lift the ****ing intensity, I don't give a damn if we come out and win this game with a half or even a quarter of football.
You want to be a serious contender? Play a full game, week after week after week. That's the job.
Not get up against a sub par GWS team as some kind of revenge for last year's belting then go missing until the next big match.

Same old team. The result was always secondary today, it was about how you played, once again you show up not at the level.

Anyway, we're getting smashed in the middle because we have Hobbs in there who has had 4 touches to half time, 1 FKA and 1 tackle. Then we have Perkins going head to head with LDU. At least Perkins is tackling but LDU is pantsing him. Durham, one of the fittest guys on our list has low ToG for some reason. Bizarre coaching. Arrogant almost.
