Nah what's responsible for North's goals is the midfield's utter crap performance. I don't blame the umpiring one bit because we shouldn't be relying on umpiring to be more than 7 points up. Split the midfield battle and we're comfortably winning this game. Instead, our utter laziness is allowing North to smash us in the middle. Xerri and LDU are having their way in there.

It's a typical Essington performance. Play well against better teams and then laziness against a winless team.

Its because the A team mids goes to the bench and the B team takes over. Notice how we smashed them in the middle at the start of the quarter, then we got pantsed as soon as Merrett and Durham went to the bench?

Blaming the umpires for that half is loser mentality.

There were some bad calls obviously, but as a team thag had hung our hats on clearance this year we are getting pantsed by a team missing their captain and running around with Liam Shiel.

Our intensity - save for a 15 minute period from the end of the first quarter to the first 10 mins of the second - has been horrific.
We have done what we always do versus Norf, coast by and give an u experienced team confidence until the very last possible moment to win it.

Anyway, we're getting smashed in the middle because we have Hobbs in there who has had 4 touches to half time, 1 FKA and 1 tackle. Then we have Perkins going head to head with LDU. At least Perkins is tackling but LDU is pantsing him. Durham, one of the fittest guys on our list has low ToG for some reason. Bizarre coaching. Arrogant almost.
