Nas IS a star, he's so good, every time he gets it he's either breaking lines and/or hitting perfect outlet kicks.. I love him, I wanna boof him

Sounds like when he agreed to stay on you both got an extension.

It really broke down in the Freo game and against Geelong when the going got tough. Probably other games too, but I've got morning fog in my brain.
Also it's been harrassed, ugly movement a lot of the time resulting in ugly bombed or grounded entries, or kicks to disadvantage.
I think the stats on F50 entry from the backline are flattering given the scrappy nature of it a lot of the time. Henry and Hill are the kinds of player who can take that ball that has been scrappy on the way there and turn it into something good, so hopefully more ball through them from now on.

Both sat on Nas. Hill, Henry, Wood, Battle and Bonner can all help if he gets sat on and more mids back gives us the option of Sinclair back there too. Stocker and Webster as well. It’s our most stacked area and should be a weapon.

Re-watched the last quarter. Clark was massive. Loved the play where his kick was smothered and he followed it up and got the next possession. 12 tackles for the game is awesome too. He 100% improves our midfield along with Dow who was also big in the last.

Agree on Clark. People are far too quick to write him off. If he can stay on the park we're a better side.

Early in the game it looked like he got a head knock again. Was thinking this poor guy just can’t take a trick.

Still reckon Windy should be getting free beers from the rest of the mids. Once we took Reid out they easily got on top. It allowed those guys to run free.

Ben Long might be the new Blacres, kicked 3 already 😳

He was huge but the coaches need to take a long hard look at themselves in my opinion. We let Reid do as he pleased for a half and it nearly cost us the game. We seem to be very reactive, it was obvious he was one we couldn't let off the leash and Windy has done these roles countless times before. Hopefully we use Windy in a similar role every week now as it obviously gives him purpose and he can still have a really big influence in his own right.

Putting Windy there allowed Sincs to go back too, and tbh that’s where he should stay. He is superb playing from half back and yesterday was his best game since he’s been back.

Just re-watched the second half. Boy were we dudded with non-holding the ball calls and the Henry trip.
David King kept mentioning it too. ( Will probably be sanctioned by the AFL for ump criticism.))
Dow was impressive in his second outing so hopefully keeps building from here.

Confidence building win you would think.

I'm not talking about him tagging mate. I'm saying I'd rather see him in the midfield than playing across half back. More than happy to see him in the midfield doing a tagging role.
I think windy has struggled in the last few months and Ross maybe thought bring in hunts and give windy some time at HB to get some easier ball.

Idk I though our I te sort and movement around the stoppages was much much better.

Our disposal going forward is still yucky. How hard is it to put the ball in front of the forwards.

Only Henry looked likely to do this.

Loved hunters tackling. Just love to see him back. We know he always takes a few weeks for his disposal to catch up.
Have to admit, we looked much better with him in the team. Hope he can stay injury free.

Not noticed in the last Clark lined up on Reid at the centre bounce at least three times, beat him each time resulting in a goal and two inside 50's.
Best game for a long long time by Clark.

Harley Reid ….TWO weeks.
Yup, thats the basic suspension.

After the game Reid was straight over to Wilson to make sure he was ok.
Have played together since juniors so it wasn't his intention to hurt him, but unfortunately that's the way of protecting the head in AFL.
