That’s because it would make sense! Would have definitely been a good crowd. Thought the crowd against the Hawks was pretty good too.

Yeh well it does knock out ya day mate. And if ya kids are elite then thats when they have sport. Its not only football that tin lids play. Kids activities massively impact attendance.

Have a look at Collingwood and Carlton attendance when they play at that time.

Its a massive issue, every single club struggles to draw crowds at that time slot.

Because the last “KPF” (player over 192cm) we drafted in the first 30 picks of the national draft was Aaron black was 16 years ago and the only key forwards we have drafted in the last 8 years, one is currently doing ok up forward, the other is thriving in defence.

Our knee-jerk desperation to fix our defence now means we have excess defenders who have little to no forward instincts plugging holes…

Yeah, it's one game to give him a look.

It's not like we're moving him forward for a game means that he can no longer move back for the rest of his career.
 
Today a headline says Hardwick questions late free kick while Lyon isn’t “weighing in”, but when you read Lynn’s quote he 100% questions why Hill didn’t get a free for a knee to the head, while pretending he isn’t commenting on umpiring.

Three close games yesterday with late umpiring decisions has given the media plenty to play with today. But Clarko is absolutely correct that not paying a free is also a decision.

The FK king received yesterday late in the last Q was questionable, it is bullshit. Fowards and Defenders are constantly grabbing one another.

If they want to pay those free kicks, LDU should have 10 free kicks a game

If he can save the section about controversial suspensions it's steep in north history. They show corey mckernan 1994 trip that cost the rising star and the 1996 knee drop that cost the brownlow, and schwass and archers 1997 incidents. And Pagans reaction coming off the field. And then Jason McCartney 1998.

We did get lucky that Mick Martyn was able to play in I think in the 1996 GF and Boomer got off on Selwood for a final too, but they didn't show the incidents.

My 10 year old son watched the last quarter I the car while on the way to dinner. When we parked there was three minutes left on the clock and we were down. We continued watching while walking to the restaurant. When Jy kicked that goal he screamed "YES!" over and over on a random backstreet in Brunswick. The excitement of a win and the relief was so cool to see.

He's a supporter for life!

My son yesterday. When the 🦅🦅 got in front, he was hysterical and inconsolable!! I couldn't calm him down even when we reached the lead again..... poor little bugger has endured a lot of losing and cops a bit of flak from a couple of his school friends....... seeing the joy on his face once he settled down warms the cockles of my heart ❤️ 💙

Martyn was 1999. In 1996, the Swans used the legal system to enforce an injunction to allow Andrew Dunkley to play in the grand final despite being suspended by the tribunal.
