Seriously. Minor nit pick.

There's absolutely no need for "overager" 17 year olds to be playing at the u/16 Champs.

O'Laughlin could be playing CTL for the Swans, he could be playing Allies football etc.

He's also messed that up - Aidan is a November 2008 DOB.

He's 2026 draft, along with Sam Harris.

Which should prove interesting with the new rules.

Blakey 2.0 looming here, with the minor difference being that Jason doesn't work at the Swans, so there wont be any alternative motives here other than wanting his son in Sydney.

I believe giantroo previously said he is as a Roos fan?
Yes, both brothers are North fans.

Just noticed a Longmire, the son of Beau, brother of Jedd.

#29 Tex Longmire
Forward | 183cm | 16/10/2008

Stats:
7 disposals, 3 marks, 1 goal

His numbers may not jump off the page but Longmire looks a likely type. The forward was dangerous inside 50, causing headaches with his movement and creativity. Longmire had a purple patch with five of his seven touches coming in the second quarter, where he booted a goal to give GWS the half time lead. In the fourth term, he set up Matthew MacDonald for a major with poise.

#35 Aidan McCartney
Key Forward | 190cm | 04/11/2008

Stats:
10 disposals, 4 marks, 3 goals

The son of three-club champion Jason, who is currently GWS’ football manager, Aidan McCartney is also father-son eligible for North Melbourne in 2026. He served as the Swans’ main target up forward and booted a game-high three goals, looking unstoppable in the air at times. McCartney took a series of super plucks, was mobile on the lead, and converted his chances over the mark.

Tex is Jedd's brother.

Beau's youngest son.

Edit: noticed your edit.

Jason McCartney son played in the u16's , does anyone know if he has been to Arden st for the father/sons days ?

Could have been an unbelievable F/S year.

It already likely will be with Harris and McCartney though (new rules might screw us however)

Dougie Cochrane (Stuart Cochrane’s son) is the potential #1 pick in 2026.

So we may have access to next year:

Sam Harris
Kayde Pickett
Billy Longmire
Owen Simpson
Archer Grant
Kai Schwass
Lucas McCartney

If they are good enough how do we do that ? Lol

Only one man fit for the job ^
