On the cusp of which signs?I'm born on a cusp so it's even more confusing.. worst of both signs
No current season stats available
Out of interest. At what stage does mediation kick in and who initiates it?
All this crap, speculating if Smith or Oliver are joining Geelong.
Oliver emptied his locker at Dees + Brad Green embarrassed himself on Xitter.
Simply look for obvious signs!

It’s blatantly clear Smith is growing shaved bits, to join Geelong’s ‘Headband Guns’!

What more proof do you need?

Erm, the same is true of Cameron and Dangerfield.Great. Will love it IF true.
Just not yet enamoured by this selection.
Have seen many great highlight reels, that's what they are- highlights.
Are they representative?
I always ask- WHY IS HE AVAILABLE to us?
This has been part of BigFooty Bingo for 20 years and has never happenedProbably the player's manager, when Smith starts getting antsy enough to call an employment lawyer, who starts saying the right magic words that result in things like the Bosman rule

Did the AFL step in for Gaz’s trade all those years ago ? I remember the GC being being stonewall despite the family tragedy that occurred at the time …not to mention the cretin Gold Coast supporters who were very vocal against the move despite what happened. The AFL stepped in with meditation between GC & Essendon when talks broke down on a trade for Josh Caddy when he was trying to return home due to his father's reported health battles - Essendon seemingly dealing in good faith with 1 x first round & 2 x contracted players, GC not accepting anything
The AFL stepped in to help negotiate a deal but one couldn't be struct

One of the main reasons I have a burning hatred for that club
Not sure on that one, but if we're honest as Geelong fans - the only reason we got the FA compo for Motlop that we did was so we could send it to GC

"That is a very real and strong possibility."
Why Bailey Smith could be headed for the national draft as the Cats and Dogs remain at loggerheads.

Yes, speculation to garner some hype for the underwhelming trade period so farThats a guess based on if a club would take Smith in preference to the young talent …. there is the other criteria …as he would nominate a wage. Some clubs would have space but some might want the three years on min chips that a draftee offers.
The irony is the always say that Free Agency was brought in because of the Ball situation. at stk …but Ball had only played 7 seasons , and would not have qualified. Even if it was one more …. StK might have matched (if he was in the top 25% of wage)
Yes, they stepped in to mediate, but the "threat to take to court and blow the entire trade system up" is a BigFooty staple since I first joined and has yet never happened. The AFL stepped in with meditation between GC & Essendon when talks broke down on a trade for Josh Caddy when he was trying to return home due to his father's reported health battles - Essendon seemingly dealing in good faith with 1 x first round & 2 x contracted players, GC not accepting anything
