I don’t think it’s as bad as a man down and I had him with votes against Port. I remember similar comments about both the Guthrie boys too.
Yep, played well in that Port game tagging.

We immediately sent him straight back into defence after that.

I think he could play midfield in the VFL and have some big games, which would help his confidence.

Wouldn’t mind him tagging though in the AFL… god knows there’s always a couple of opposition mids absolutely dominating us each week.

That's one short CHB and I know Merrick is only 27 but not sure how many additional extensions he'll sign beyond the one he did this year

On the other hand, Connor O'Sullivan may be our long term CHB, may just need a few summers in the gym
I’m not sure why I put O’Connor, must have been a big day🤦

But yes I meant to say O’Sullivan👍

He’s been playing the Bews role. That’s pretty normal IMO.
If that's so then I'd rather we bring back bews.
Mullin is simply not ready. Plays crap 90% of the game.

Cats have no choice but to play kittens.
Senior stars can no longer sway a game.
Capitalise on senior guidance before gone.
Try new faces to access ability and potential
Reward players based on performance
Gain experience and built team cohesion

Feel like he’s too much of a good student, seems to watch his player too much rather than playing the ball. In the centre tagging he is around the ball so maybe he feels like he has no choice but to contest the ball whereas in defence he concentrates on the player rather than attacking the ball 🤷🏻‍♂️
He’s looked his best when he follows his instinct.

I disagree. For sure there have been mistakes but I’ve seen progress and think he’s worth persisting with.
He definitely shows flashes and I'm hopeful we get a really good player out of him but I'd like to see him play a full game of midfield and the only place he can do that is in the 2s.
