Heh I feel you.
I had Campylobacter food poisoning once. Got out of bed and jumped in the shower feeling fine.
5 minutes later was flinging the shower door open to projectile vomit, spent two days wondering which end was going to spew first, or at the same time, then 5 days shitting like my arse was a high speed train with any food entering in Beijing and exiting half an hour later in Shanghai…

Yep, I thought I was going to die, so losing a mattress, sheets, a doona, 8 kgs and some clothes was nothing
I went to Phuket for 10 days once, got food poisoning twice(although I reckon it was from brushing my teeth in the shower...) and was bedridden for 6 of the days. Had to move hotel while trying not to throw up/shit myself on the back of the motorcycle while my Mrs was driving.
Truly an unpleasant experience.
Honey moon in Thailand. Spend NYE at a beach party in Phuket. Next day we went to Krabi and thought I was really hung next day... But I was not. It was brutal. Was violent af.
Two nights in a Krabi international hospital (with sheets I don't think have ever been washed), a truck that drove past every 20 mins with a speaker saying "Muay Thai , Muay Thai, Muay Thai, Tuesday night. Muay Thai " on full blast. And a nurse asking me if I knew who she was (ladyboy). Truly an experience.
I've had gastro a few times tho and It sucks, everytime my kids get it I know I'm fkd. But nothing compared to that Thai experience... Good times.
Yeah, pretty rough.
I mean, I usually get a mild case of the shits whenever I'm over there(my Mrs is Thai, so I've been a lot) but never like that.

Had it in Thailand (Phuket) years ago, partner and I ate bad Indian. I knew as soon as it hit my stomach. Doctor had to come to my room, could barely move for 24 hours. Good way to lose weight. (maybe not). Just had it again recently, about same week as Bo, it was doing the rounds here..
But yeh, Bo Allan....curious to see what he brings, if plays. Wouldn't expect too much.
