Intrguing player. Seems to run all day, has no problems finding the footy and tends to hit the scoreboard. He says half forward, but with his running capacity and smarts i wouldn't mind seeing him as a genuine attacking wingman. Could get games early in that role and not look out of his depth at 191cm's IMO.

He will play earlier than some of those drafted before him.

Mini is going to love his running patterns, his two way and all day running.

He is also dangerous in the front half of the ground, as he has an uncanny knack of finding the goals.

We lack wingers, surely he is right in the mix for round 1 with his running ability and lack of depth in the wing roles.

Davis and Allan gotta be the 2 draftees closest to a debut

Both should be playing round 1 IMO.

Davis ahead of Chesser for mine, but i'm not sure it's going to play out that way.

Think Davis has the best chance of debuting next season alongside Allan. Both physically ready for AFL with big strong bodies. He can run all day and can find the ball. Is a capable goalkicker too but probably won't find a spot as a 3rd tall in the side atm.

We drafted arguably the most likely bunch to debut with those two and also Shanahan playing a decent chunk of senior footy in the VFL

It will be very interesting to watch how a new coach and a changed selection committee, approaches team selections.
Hopefully these young guys are training and playing that well that they are putting pressure on for games.
Huge year for Chesser, he needs to step up.

Yeah Chesser has been gifted games previously, which was understandable given the rest of the list was shit and not getting the job done either, so it made sense. At this point though, as a 4th year first round draft pick that's been in the system a while, he really needs to be earning his spot in the side.

I'd rather 'gift' games to our highly rated newbies Allan/Davis than have Chesser starting in the best 22 round 1.

WAFL initially could be good for him.

I doubt whether Chesser will be gifted games anymore. His games will be on merit or not at all.
