Hi cnuts.
Went on a big Eurotrip before starting full time work (started a couple of weeks ago). Unfortunately (fortunately for some) this will results is a largely diminished output of my previously university procrastination fueled posting.
In my typical blindly optimistic style of...
Saw you 'tagged' me in a post (whatever that is), but the thread is now closed. Just got back from Europe today, first game I see? Norf bringing the LOLz! A true, deeply ingrained culture of finals thumpings down at Arden St. Nice to see the FD department spending has got you far - 1 final, 100...
Forgot about the Neil Craig factor... would be good if true.
We have a lot of cap room and very good picks to trade. IF Dangerfield did want to come home you'd think we'd almost be in the box seat.
Disagree, did you see when Geelong were overlapping through the midfield and our players were trying to chase? Looked incredibly slow, Trengove especially.
We are the slowest team in the AFL at the moment. Our midfield really can't keep up with their opponents on the spread as they are all one paced - Jones, Trengove, Magner, Moloney.
Sylvia has pace but hasn't been played in the midfield properly yet.
Davey isn't as fast as he used to be...
I know you're incredibly biased to your own team, but the topic is 100% spot on. I know you don't want to acknowledge what a massive failure it was by your administration and football department but your forwardlines performance against a decimated GC side tonight just proves it even further...
Dumb and Dumber can address and discuss the topic of the post rather than throwing personal insults around and just attacking the club of the OP.
BigFooty is an absolute joke, thought this wasn't Bay 13. :o
Considering you followed West Coast through 2010 i'm sure you should realise that new structrues and gamplans take time to implement and be effective. Melbourne in the last few weeks have been much better than the first 3 weeks of the season.
Last time I will reply to your off topic trolling...
Sorry, what does any of this have to do with Clark's great performances so far this year and the fact Fremantle have no key forwards?
Stop going off topic thanks.
Clark's family urged him to take the money, and he didn't want to screw over Brisbane. He also has his brother in Melbourne.
@ Scotland - we all know you are a serial Melbourne troll, but seriously? He hasn't changed Melbourne's structure? Melbourne's structure and gameplan is completely...
Fremantle could have got Clark with pick 16 and at a fair price, if they offered that initially. Clark is on big $ at Melbourne because:
A. We had to pay overs to lure him away from where he wanted to go
B. We have a shitload of cap room and are paying most of his contract this year
People...
You clearly didn't follow the trade closely. Melbourne ONLY had an opportunity to offer Clark a contract because talks had broken down between Fremantle and Brisbane. Fremantle thought Clark only would want to go there so offered a second round pick (when he is clearly worth a first) with the...
That's a reflection of Melbournes poor delivery into the forward 50. His roving is immense for a 200cm key forward, and his contested marking is also huge. Haven't found the stats for today but he would have had 4-5 contested marks.
He is exactly what Fremantle needs, and I can't work out for...
It's evident that Fremantle are missing a big forward target this year. With Pavlich pushing up into the midfield, they are left with Anthony, Z Clark or Kepler. Their leading goal kicker is Mayne with 7 goals, after 5 rounds.
Mitch Clark wanted to go to Fremantle, Fremantle wanted Clark but...
4 goals and 20 possessions, what is Garry smoking?
Jack Viney broke his jaw after a massive hit from Wojo, got straight back up and walked off the ground... what a tough kid. I'm more excited about that anyway.
Is there going to be a new thread "Jack Watts kick 4 at Casey and named best on ground"?
I'm sure it will get 400 replies and 30,000 views too. People are just obsessed with this kid.
LOL. I started a relevant thread on bay 13 at a time when Watts was in great form, form he will return to shortly.
I, however, did not search this thread up after one year, obviously trolling through every Watts thread created in the last few years to bump.
Now that is an obsession.
