Kicked three yesterday. Has played 30 odd games now and has bobbed up with three or four on a number of occasions.

Kid has beautiful skills and game sense, which he needs as he's not particularly quick, tall or big.

He's not a prolific player in terms of racking up big stats but when he does get the ball, almost always uses it perfectly.

Boomer Harvey had a go at him after the Collingwood debacle in Rd2 and he's stepped up admirably since.

I see him as the kind of player who breaks opposition hearts by doing stuff all for most of a day and then kicking three quick goals at the end of the third quarter to change the dynamic of a contest.

Have a strange sense he'll be a good finals player too.

[This is not a North boo hoo hoo if Sammy Wright played at a big club he'd be called a star whinge whinge we invented Friday nights why doesn't everyone stop having a go at us thread. I'm genuinely interested in people's opinions of a player I reckon is very flying under the radar at the moment.]

The intercepting mark between Goddard and Watson (??) absolutely turned the game - potential shot on goal and looking down the barrel of a 39 pt deficit vs. whipping it up the other end for Brown's first and the start of the comeback.
