He may well be on the GC but I can tell you now depending on security settings your friends can tag you in a check-in even if you aren't with them. So don't believe everything you see or read.
Re: Please dont take Dave Misson with you Ross
I was inferring that Misson wasn't going to Freo with Ross.
And you can't know for sure whether he would still be there is Ross was going to be staying. Maybe Ross knew that Misso was looking to get out?? Maybe many of the Staff are looking...
Re: Brendan Fevola?
Ain't this the damn truth. It kills me. I know guys like Braddy and Hally are guns for a reason but say with Braddy last year we would constantly find him one out in the square in room. Why can't we do this anymore?? Do we not back the abilities of our own Forwards? Are...
Re: Malceski to GWS ?
Mal will not go anywhere! I will guarantee you no Club would make a play for a guy with this many knee problems. Just won't happen. 3 lars surgeries including one this year. He'll be at the Club next year and will be better off with another pre-season.
Re: Brendan Fevola?
I'll guarantee his first night out in Sydney - if anyone gets wind of him being The Fev - someone will try and knock him out and you'll get your headline straight away!
No-one ever truly knows exactly what goes on behind closed doors. Secondly this ain't park footy. It's serious business. From an outsider looking in - Ross is a great signing. He needed to move from St Kilda and personally I think he will be great for Freo. Harvey looks as though he has come off...
Re: Hawks vs Sydney Swans (Semi Final)
Normally I don't intrude but I think this is way off the mark, in my opinion. We beat a team for 3 out of 4 quarters and we deserved to win. They were lucky to get so close. We are generally poor in our 3rd quarters and most good teams will come back at...
All you guys need is a ruckman to make a contest. Your mids are good enough to convert them to your advantage no matter who gets the HO. HO stats can be completely misread most of the time. It's HO's to advantage that are the key. As you said, if the mids pull their finger out it's anyones. I've...
Has a similar feel doesn't it? We all got a little cocky last year. Hopefully that 2nd half has stuck in a few of their heads and the new guys play with unbridled passion and enthusiasm. It's going to be a belter of a game.
Lewis killed us last time. Make no mistake - this will be a tough game. Hawthorn were in the Geelong game right up till the last quarter. This won't be an easy task - Buddy or not. I am amazed so many of the fans are giving up in some respect.
Very true. He will have to learn how to balance that out. Facts are you can't run and harass like that and still have strength and energy to do the other little things. He's still young though and it would have been a good learning experience. Must say it is great to see him standing at the top...
It's definitely frustrating. As they say, it's very easy to criticise and condemn and most fools do. They'll harp on about Richmond & Essendon (as with others) playing an exciting attacking brand of Footy but it doesn't really get them too far does it? You might enjoy watching some great attack...
Agree Leg End. I hold no fears but the fear of our defenders losing out against the umps.
As long as we are hard at the ball all across the ground and kick straight that should get us over any other obstacles.
I would love to know how much importance the players put on AA. I think it's a joke the way it's done. They should leave it at the Brownlow, Club B&F's and MVP Players awards and that's it. AA means nothing to me considering they don't play against anyone.
Re: Brendan Fevola?
The big difference is that Barry defended as well. Fev does sweet FA defensively. Barry would chase down guys rebounding out of the 50. Players like Fev don't do enough of the ball. Braddy on one leg was proving to be a liabilty in that area as well. You need to do more...
We will beat them in the middle. We've got the game now to shut down key players but get enough good ball ourselves. The key is converting our chances because Saints can really restrict scoring from teams. I just can't wait to see Gary and Luke in the finals. The forward defensive pressure has...
Re: Elimination Final: The Sydney Swans vs. The St Kilda Saintsa
Saints aren't playing that great - don't be fooled. They have not beat much. Carlton were soft as tonight. North lost the plot the week before and if we had kicked straight we would have embarrassed them. Nick Smith will keep...
Re: Elimination Final: The Sydney Swans vs. The St Kilda Saintsa
Carlton were ridiculously soft tonight but it was kind of to be expected. If they reproduce anything close to that the Bombers will beat them. Very soft.
Jetta makes no sense to me. Came on for 20 mins and played like he had been...
Re: McVeigh (Aka McSexy)
You know when Spangher went off injured on Sunday, Macca sprinted from a distance to pat him on the back for putting his body on the line. It struck me then and it strikes me even harder now that a guy with that much going in his life outside of Footy still had the...
The media won't let it go because Hally didn't let it go. Here's another excerpt for you all ---->
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/how-paul-roos-hung-barry-hall-out-to-dry/story-e6frf9jf-1226119933639
The things that bugs me is that Hally clearly states he had no-one to blame but...
They match up well. Here's an article for you ----> http://www.smh.com.au/afl/afl-news/pigs-might-fly-before-the-swans-ageold-rivalry-becomes-a-saintly-affair-20110818-1j08u.html
Both teams are not known for kicking large scores and generally both are pretty good defensive sides so games are...
