Hey guys, just checking in to see how a few of my old teammates are going in Nick Locandro who went to Lexton and Nick Abbot who went to Rokewood. I saw Locandro got best on in round 1 but havnt seen anything about Abbot..
Jayden Reid made Learmonth look like a bunch of little kids on the weekend..
Bungaree played well, but Learmonth are in a heck of a lot of trouble, in terms of being competitive this season.
Bungaree lost to diggers rest.. Just had more legs than us. I hear Springbank lost to Carnham Linton! not a good start to the year considering C-L had lost most of their better players too.
How'd the other praccy matches go?
Premiers: Daylesford
Wooden Spooners: Newlyn or Gordon
League Medal: Bones or Sawyers
Biggest Improver from 09: Ballan or Springbank
Biggest Slider from 09: Learmonth or Beaufort
Goal Kicker: Watts
Most expensive team: Hepburn
Most under-rated player: Morley (Bungaree)
Most over-rated player...
Bit harsh i would have thought.. Was a pretty handy player for you boys when we played you last season, and that was in heavy rain and total mud. Not ideal conditions for a big fella like him. I think his more looking forward to playing finals this season.
How's Carmody going so far btw? Is...
Has signed with Rokewood from what i hear, and same thing was said on the lexton plains thread..
when is everyone getting back into preseason training?
So which players are changing clubs in 2010?
Here are 3 i'm aware of..
Newlyn losing Shane Edwards
Bungaree losing Brendan Clohesy
Dunnstown losing Sawyers
I'm a massive fan of MacDonald, he has actually got very good skills, and he did have a standout 08 season. This year he showed his class against St kilda and Collingwood and other teams mainly when he was in his normal HBF/BP role. Where most of 09 he was stuck taking the 2nd tall or 1st...
Confirmed.
Disappointing to see young Tayte Pears depart the club, but to gain 'Mr Consistent' Matthew Pavlich and Paul Duffield is a great coup for the club. Scott was being forced to retire, while Lovett asked to be traded away.
Essendon are online and have also announced that Matthew Lloyd and Scott Lucas have been reinstated as senior players, whilst two rookies were unluckily dropped to make room for the two veterans.
Richmond and Essendon have both opened their accounts this trade period with their first trade being finalised.
The trade see's Richmond leaders Matthew Richardson, Nathan Brown and Kelvin Moore heading to Windy Hill, while speedster Jason Winderlich heads to Punt Rd along with picks 42 and 74.
