I don't think he is weak.
I think he is at the par level of any other AFL payer.
Tough by comparison of trade, is that yes he is tougher then the average man, but to be classified as a "tough" footballer you meed top be aboce par.
I don't believe him to lack courage - But if your skill...
No one mentions LRT's kicking so the relatioship to Dunkley onthat basis is irrelevant.
Dunkley had footy smarts, mongerel and was as tough as they come. All things LRT is not.
Hawthorn won a flag without 3 Tall defenders.
To accuse one of ignorance because they share a differing opinion...
Alternative: Our best back 6 - Barry, Bolton, Malceski, Mattner, Richards, Kennelly.
Traditional positions have changed so you have them match accordingly.
18 beers in 2 hours, down to domino's for a couple of meat-eaters and then home for another 6 beers - well done son - get the MBF up-to-date and make sure you tick the box that says - CARDIAC.
Working on average of at least one per game, plus 3 in th first half against hawthorn 30 seems a fair call. LRT yes he's premiership player, but he is not up to standard. He has now played 98 games at the highest level but lacks instinct and is consisitantely caught on the wrong side of his...
Ablett is not a high possession onballer so for that he is maligned - I think there are far worse players at the Swans then luke. I want us to delist LRT - he has played one half of good footy in his career (granted it was 2005 GF) - LRT could end up the worst 150 game player in history. Whilst...
Mchale or Smith are the obvious considerations for coach - Sheedys record is not that of either of them.
Sheedy 27yrs 4 premierships
Smith 24 yrs 6 premeirships
McHale 38 yrs 8 premierships.
I hate to pick also - but Ian Stewart with 3 brownlows would have to be a bit unlucky. As a "Legend" of the game (status since 1996) he and other legends should be automatic selections.
Maybe I'm biased as Ian Stewart was recruited from the Mighty Hobart Football Club!
There would be very few Swans fans who consider Thomas a front-runner, he has been instrumental in Collingwoods recent success against us. I rate him very highly, and he will be 200 game + player at the pies. I would take Thomas at the Swans any day!
I think Milne is a frontrunner, althugh he...
Despite having what most people would consider a "mediocre" year, I would argue that Goodes is easily in the top 50 players in the AFL. After all said and done he polled less 3 votes then Cooney and missed games along the way.
If we could get Kerr and the WCE 2nd round pick for pick 6 I would be interested. In essence we get Kerr and Pick 18 for O'keefe and pick 12 not a bad deal. Kerr is 25 and would be great for the Swans.
