From the photo above and replay its possible see high contact. Also looks like tardio and the mont bloke were shoulder to shoulder. Even after tario jumped.

Only thing that may keep it under 4 is that the Mont player walked off and 2 is enough to miss a potential grand final. Am i righ in saying that the mont player didnt return.
Casboult should always be a chf and relief ruckman who runs deep into the forward line on the counter attack. This allows him to contest/mark outside 50 and deliver forward or mark inside 20m on the counter and hit the scoreboard.
That way if he takes say 3 marks within 20m distance and sprays...
Not sure if this exactly Carlton in the media and not sure about the link posting either rules but...

Ive already mentioned it before, i have never seen Levi make a clear attempt to hunch over the ball and stay hunched over as long as possible to ensure the ball is drop as close to the foot as possible. So for me not all hope is lost
Unfortunately he is playing AFL, not VFL. In a contending team his kicking for goal would not be tolerated. As we a far from a contending team, it is.
However as we improve and hopefully become that team and unless his goal kicking substantially improves, Casboult will not be playing AFL...
Easy to try, not to fix. actually most likely won't be fixable but needs to get to an acceptable level. Unfortunately all advice in the world won't mean a thing if it's poor advice.
Does anyone know the details and severity of Thomas's injury. Was just starting to get some form. Would be very disappointing if it was serious.
Also I really thought casboult was making progress last year with sav Rocca as kicking coach.
From what I see, ball drop is too high, surely...
Think you will find that its actually Geelongs first round pick in 2016. So depends on where Geelong finish not Carlton. Going by Geelongs trading, id say pick 12 - 18
Interesting fact. Exactly 10 years ago, Liam Brandt's half brother Jake king was also awarded the medal for best on ground in the Div 1 grand final between North Heidelberg and Heidelberg.
North were underdogs (pardon the pun) that day as were Mcleod today.

Its quite simple. Players will not play to the best of their ability. Players know that a majority of them are on the chopping block next year. So they have 2 options. 1) all commit and have a crack. Win some games, lose some too but be competitive. Mick possibly gets resigned and majority of...
In normal circumstances id say sydney under 30pts. the smaller ground will suit us. (Think new zealand). Contested footy being our only strength. However, because the only chance of the majority of the list saving their own skins for next year is to play pathetic footy, get smashed and make...
Not elite, very good on his day. Can still be inconsistent and have seen him get beaten 1 on 1 too many time. Especially on the lead but these days with the amount of inside 50's the opp is getting i wouldnt blame anyone who plays in our defense.
I think this is the most important point ive heard yet.
If the club plans on maintaining the bulk of this list then malthouse has to resign. Mutal agreement or whats it could these days. "Conscious Uncoupling".
If the coach doesnt believe in you then why should you believe in the coach.
If...
Sack or Back. No, not what the lady at local thai massage place asks a client but rather what the Carlton football club should do with the coach. Cuz if they dont the damage done this year could take a decade to repair.
Dont get me wrong we do need to play with free reign in the short term but long term it doesnt work. Thats what we had with Ratten for all those years. Down hill skiers, flat track bullies and one way runners was the critism back then.
Although i did enjoy watching us when we were on thats for...
Have to disagree there, remember distinctly that questions were asked about why the "star" draftees werent coming on or why they werent getting on the park or why they kept getting injured. Im talking wingard, harlett and co.
2 choices, happy with either. 1) Mick steps down and perhaps we become more competitive and some players save their careers. Early draft picks 1 priority. 2) Mick gets resigned, and start to work out who stays and who goes, we finish bottom 4. Early draft pick a priority.
The majority of this...
I remember us beating the tigers, smashing the lions by 90 odd pts then belting the pies by 10 goals plus. Murphy and Judd were the labelled the best midfield duo in the comp and we were premiership favourites by the bookies. And then essendon, followed by a car crash of a season. Oh how times...
Agree that it didnt sound good but MM didnt mean Carlton specifically, he ment all middle to low tier teams that are years away from contention. Just came out wrong.
