Agree in general. Langford / Reid or Langford / Allan would be great. FOS or Taura would be strong too, but feel a little more risk v. reward.

I'd go Langford over FOS at this point. But unsure how much injury impacted FOS year this year. Langford is a great all-around player (not far off a Brayshaw clone), and his 2km result makes me feel better about his shitty 20m.

Other thing to consider with 9 trade is Kalani White being F/S eligible next year. Moving our F1 out and being able to match a bid on him could be genius.

Bloke has been more successful than 98% of AFL players running around currently in fairness, coddling is a step too far. Who knows exactly what has happened in 23' especially, but get around the lad. If he get's back to near his best, we're a shot in 25'.

The best thing about Brown is goal kicking accuracy, you know he'll bob up for a couple a game either because of a good lead-up or free kicks with his size. He didn't have a tonne of impact around the ground but 3.0 was huge for us.

Thought it was a pretty strong game across the board. We gave up some momentum early in second through sloppy play forward/back, but never looked in serious trouble. Roo was a little quiet on the stat sheet but I thought he competed really well around the ground in his 2nd ruck stints, and...

Agree our leaders need to lift, only Viney and May performed to required level Thursday. The rest were average. That said, players that aren't going to make the grade going out is better for us. Hore in for Tommo. Fullarton in for Schache.

Lever was poor, but at least we know he can play quality football. Instead of mediocre football at best.

I'd rather get rid of Tomo. Did a couple of nice things but he's an athletic and ground ball liability.

Fair enough mate, I didn't see Oliver as costing us the game. I thought that our lack of competitive effort up forward and the Swans being cleaner around the ball was a bigger impact.

Got to agree with Derm in some aspects. May/Lever/Tommo did not play well together, got in each others way multiple times.

Maybe you just need to re-asses your expectations mate? He has to get fitter but there were plenty who showed less intent who had full pre-seasons. I'd rather have him ready to go in 3 weeks than playing 4 games in the VFL and needing another 3 to get ready at AFL level.

100%, from the sounds of it they rotate between mixed teams / A&B teams etc too.

Sparrow is a good solid professional AFL role player, need plenty of those. He looked, athletically, to have some scope as a power/endurance player but he doesn't look like he's quite got there yet. Very happy to have him in the team as an all round player with solid skill, physicality and effort.
