If Hewett goes, getting Lipinski, or even better Constable, would be a must. I wouldn't mind getting them both even if he stayed.
If possible, a KPD with our first rounder would be wonderful. I think it's Gibcus that is the top ranked one atm?
Agree with McCartin Snr starting in reserves. If he played a tiny handful of senior games, or even one, that would be a success for him. Has to be handled very gently to get him to his high ceiling.
I've only got Naismith there because of lack of other options really. Amartey hasn't really had...
Might as well try making a firsts and reserves team. Odds of further list changes are likely, so take with a massive grain of salt. Have assumed that Campbell and Gulden are coming in. Managed to fit in the whole playing list I think though, which is good!
FB: Cunningham Brand Gould
HB: Mills...
Posted this on another thread a while back, but thought I'd post here for your thoughts:
Trade
Preuss is most likely to go to the Giants, but a part of me is still hopeful we're in with a shot. If not, I hope we take a punt at either Peter Ladhams or Sam Hayes from Port. Hickey is the worst...
Disagree, with the current age of our list, we shouldn't be going after any A-grade players in trade for probably two or three years. Get the top youngsters (why limit ourselves to just one?), then go nuts when we're closer to that premiership window.
Yeah, and I wouldn't mind Tillthorpe, Grainger-Barrass, or Phillips! McDonald is a wishful dream imo, you guys would be crazy not to take him if/when Ben Brown goes
I just think with McCartin showing better form in defence and Blakey on an attacking wing, we basically have no decent up and coming key forwards. Reid is rubbish, Franklin is basically gone, McLean is decent, but has a very low ceiling and isn't really best 22. I mean hell, in Round 1 2020...
Haaaaahahahaha, well I'll try not to be too disingenuous :P
Anything above a fourth round pick I'd be ecstatic with. Surprised we didn't just straight delist him tbh
Trade
I hope we go after Preuss obviously, but if he goes (most likely to the Giants), I hope we take a punt at either Peter Ladhams or Sam Hayes from Port. Hickey is the worst possible option, not sure he'd be better than Sinclair or Aliir at the centre bounces.
A big bodied mid is something...
Just for fun, here's a rough Swans 2nds team. Injuries excepted of course
Assuming first team is:
Melican, Grundy, Smith
Rampe, Aliir, Lloyd
Heeney, Mills, Jones
Hayward, Franklin, Florent
Papley, Sinclair, Menzel
Naismith, Kennedy, Parker
Hewett, Reid, Ronke, McVeigh
That leaves us with...
Might as well chuck in my best 22 for next year.
Melican, Grundy, Smith
Rampe, Aliir, Lloyd
Heeney, Mills, Jones
Hayward, Franklin, Florent
Papley, Sinclair, Menzel
Naismith, Kennedy, Parker
Hewett, Reid, Ronke, McVeigh
Blakey will get in there no doubt, Clarke and Thurlow will be decent...
Hey all, wrote an article with some thoughts on some of the Academy boys. If I've missed anything, or anyone, then let me know! :)

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around lately, life has been crazy busy, but good! If there are any academy players I've missed, or things you think I've got wrong, shoot me an email at stephenjtreloar@gmail.com :) cheers guys
Right guys, ANB, what's the go with him? Always thought of him as a fringe player, but he certainly wasn't that on the weekend! What's his job security like now do you think, and should I be tempted by his 110? Or is Hannan a better option for consistency? This is for AFL Fantasy, not SC btw
Cadsky answered it pretty well.
Now about the Crows, Curtly Hampton, CEY, and Riley Knight. What's their job security like? And with Ellis Yolmen, will he take that inside midfield time as Scott Thompson steps away?
