CMac pretty stiff to miss out. Really consistent and improved steadily through the season. Has had a better season than Ginnivan I think. Watson's radar kept him out of this side. If he had a conversion of 50% or more he'd be there. Calsher only 14 games but at this rate should make it next year.

Welcome Welcome to Hawthorn : Calsher Dear! Rising star nom!

It's good to see his goals per game gradually creep up.

Three?? Since when did the price for a highly skilled, but inconsistent player = 3 first rounders? 3 first rounders if for Jeremy Cameron, or a guy you can build a side around.

Preview Round 24, 2024: Hawks v North, 12:30pm Sat 24th Aug, UTAS - NOTE NEW START TIME

If we win by 48 points this forum will be the angriest place on earth

Opinion Can the Hawks make finals in 2024?

Here's what I think will happen: Hawks will comfortably beat North Port will beat Freo, not by much. 10-20 points. Carlton will take St Kilda too lightly and lose. GWS will beat bulldogs (who continue to be red hot or ice cold). This would leave the finals 5th - Lions (14.5 wins) 6th -...

Peptides! The *Essendrug Dopers: come smell the bull****! -PART 2

Mackay and Shiel are such prime examples of what Essendon do with recruiting. Both players have a lot of talent but some rough edges. They paid premium dollars or picks for both of them - and have somehow found ways to amplify the rough edges rather than amplify their very clear strengths.

Welcome Welcome to Hawthorn : Nick 'the Wizard' Watson! Rising star Nom!

He's building! Those 3 goals were all top shelf. The two missed opps were his missed chance to really hit a new level. It's going to happen. A matter of when, not if.

Autopsy Round 23, 2024: Hawks smack Tigers

I think we're maturing a lot as a group. One thing we don't know how to do is take the foot off slightly. That 5% drop off becomes a 20% drop off and the game changes a lot. But we are smacking sides that we should beat. Can't remember the last time we dropped against a mid-table or lowly...

This is Jobe's speciality. It's like he's having 'nam flashbacks to when he was a player and just starts barking things into the microphone.

Autopsy Round 23, 2024: Hawks smack Tigers

Thought Scrimmers and Hardwick were awesome today. Both ran in hard straight lines at the footy and marking contests. Hardwick had that one shocker but these two were awesome across the game I thought.

Autopsy Round 23, 2024: Hawks smack Tigers

Threepeat style win - destroy them in a quarter and then maintain for the rest. Inaccuracy is a momentum killer Opposition contested marks are as well. Great to see Watson and Dear both kick 3. Amon and D'Ambrosio probably our best two. Moore started on fire but then was very un-Moore like...

If you wanna look at it that way. I'm having a great time. That first quarter was unreal. We're still 6+goals in front at half time. Day and McKenzie off for a lot of that quarter while they were lifting really worked against us. We'll reset at halftime and come out a lot better. Watch...
