Where's the interleague match this year? I know Mallee play the Yarra Valley league? Hope it's somewhere local or do they mallee boys have to travel to Melbourne like Belgrave.
Someone told me today Stephen Lyons has left the tigers, going to play for Toolelybuc/Manang. Enjoyed watching him play, would've liked to see Tubs stay on.
Jarrod Arentz from TooleyBuc Managatang will be coaching Sealake,Nandaly,Berri and Culgoa Tigers in 2012 Assistant coaches are Joe Summerhayes and Darcy Ryan. Also recruited are Steve Lyons and Lance Brown. Col Durie will stay on as a player and coach the interleague team.
In 2008 North and Geelong played at Etihad Stadium the crowd was 38,373. If North was to play Geelong twice during the home and away season I don't think the AFL wouldn't be too unhappy if that size crowd came to Etihad for a game between the two sides.
More tackling from everyone would be great with Andrew Swallow leading the way in most games and some more shepherds too like when Leigh Adams,Speight did for Boomer when he kicked his goal on the run.
It's alright to go to the footy alone, I go to most of the north games by myself. I sometimes stand in the area of the cheer squad behind the goals and get a good atmosphere that way.
