Original trade plans down the drain!
Reid, Biggie to Sullivan, Zorko with Jackson covering ruck ~30k in the bank
OR
Reid, Sweet to Sullivan, Marshall with 144k in the bank
In both cases I'm forced to field Jones at f6 (just like last week) sigh
Every sub Tom Green ton I've had as C after gambling on my VC that week. Safe to say I gamble no more... At least for now... 135 from Bont I'll take it over and over again!
Anyone upgrading Yeo to Ryan? Or at that price not even worth a sniff? He is almost 200 points clear of Yeo and it doesn't effect my upgrades this week as I'm going Roberts, Dempsey to Oliver, Jones with my other trades
I've got Jackson as R2 and it's killing me. At this point it's basically an upgrade to trade him to Gawn, halting getting a rookie off the field. Do I have to just cop it and continue upgrading? I haven't moved from 10k rank basically all year, not owning him has really set me back from any form...
After getting done by Tom Green x2 sub 100 captain scores,1x Zac Butters 100 captains score and 1x Bont sub 100 captains score.. I couldn't of locked Bont in quick enough on Thursday
Thanks for the reply mate, I completely agree. This was my first and only option this week before exploring any trades with Meek, none of which really interest me. This one was the best I could come up with, and it doesn't fill me with confidence at all
Option 1:
Grundy > Meek
McKercher > Merrett/Insert premo here
Howes > Clohesy
125k in the bank
Option 2:
Grundy > Flanders (Jackson to R2)
McKercher > Martin
Howes > Clohesy
66k in the bank
Here's a link to a search I have bookmarked, to have a chuckle at people's over reactions or discussion on Twitter. I don't use the platform, but it's very interesting reading the "experts" tweets and seeing people following trends. Thought some of you may enjoy the quick link
Supercoach...
I'd take Serong before Butters, and that is coming from someone who swapped him out at the last second for N.Martin as a cash grab before the season started.
Serong is the main man in that midfield and sits #2 on the player ratings with his ruckman Jackson at #3. They are dominating and making...
I've been battling between this decision aswell, given Powell is going to go up at least 60k if he hits his BE of 80.
Do you want to pay 60k but most likely more next week to get him in? Or do you want to pay at least 40k or more for Serong as an example if he hits his BE of 126?
Kick the can down the road one more week for Serong and pay the difference next week (Sexton, Windsor to Serong, Darcy) or get Serong this week, and pay the difference for Powell next week? The $$$ numbers suggest it's an easy choice, but I cannot handle one more week without Serong when he was...
My goal this week is to get McKercher + Serong in, and there's only two possibilities for me to make it happen:
1. Naicos to any defender not named Stewart, Sheezel, Massimo. (Milera used for cash left over purposes)
S. Berry to McKercher
N. Martin to Serong
70k in the bank
2. Windsor to Darcy...
He is a very tough watch. Last year he was a stand out amongst an average side, this year with their young kids back (Perkins, Cox etc) and their new recruits, he looks to be much less impactful than last year.
The TOG is what made me hold trading him last week, I might do it this week though...
He's up against Ned Moyle today in his first game of AFL. Last game at MARS was against Briggs and pumped out a 160. Backing in English for a huge game
3 hours to decide if I keep English or go down to Gawn and bank the coin. I started him last year and it put me in a position where I didn't move out of the top ~500 all year until I ran out of trades right at the end to slide to ~1.2k.
My wise mind says downgrade, my emotional mind says stick...
I wouldn't be surprised if Dunkley sits out next week. The football nuff I am I listen to his pod with Treloar and it just so happens his Mrs is playing in the netball grand final next week in Melbourne.
If he were to to play against WC he wouldn't make it back across the country in time to...
