    Bulldogs 2013 Fixture

I just had a look at our fixtures, they're actually not as bad as some people have been complaining about. The key is the first 3 games Lions, Freo and Richmond all at Etihad. If we can be 6/10 after the first 10 games leading into the bye, anything is possible in the middle of the season when...

    Adelaide Oval - Discussion

You have valid point, but what you're forgetting is that Adelaide already has two oval stadiums. The capacity of AAMI is the same as the new AO will be. That's why footy should of got it's own central venue in the city if playing at West Lakes was that much of an issue. What I don't agree with...

    Adelaide Oval - Discussion

I'm taking about a new stadium for footy and leaving AO as it was, obviously you can't have those video screens and cricket. The agreement and having to deal with SACA does not benefit footy, cricket is dying and we're the dominant code yet we're playing second fiddle.

    Adelaide Oval - Discussion

Braga stadium HAD to be built for the Euro, they could afford to not have 4 stands because the domestic game in Portugal doesn't reach capacity, it was built mainly for the Euro so they could try something different. I'm not asking for it to be the MCG, as the MCG is not state of the art, it's...

    Adelaide Oval - Discussion

I agree that AO has a carpet like surface, but is it really a big deal if we had a substandard surface for a few years. I like the Adelaide Oval the way it was and believe it should of been kept as it was for cricket (great surface, good capacity close to 40k). But building a new stadium around...

    Adelaide Oval - Discussion

Can't believe we are spending over 500 million on a stadium that just has three stands and a 100 year old scoreboard. We really should be building a stadium like Etihad and putting the scoreboard in our museum, or even creating our very own SA sporting museum as we've been lucky enough to see so...

The Herald Sun now calls soccer football

Don't really watch the local news, but I could of sworn that the Crowsvertiser called it football, not that I read it often because it's rubbish. I've heard it called football more often than not but that's probably because a lot of the people I'm friends with play the sport. I was just going by...

The Herald Sun now calls soccer football

It's called football most of the time in SA and is occasionally called soccer. I don't think it's a big deal, football is what the game is called historically called. That amateur league you mentioned comes from a time in SA when the sport was more widely referred to as soccer. Since the 90's...

    Review Rnd9 : Review/Rant/Roast megathread

I was happy with tonights performance. A bit of luck/class wins you those tight games and at the moment we don't have that. Even though Gia kicked 3 he was still very disappointing, he can't sprint at all and is poor in marking contests but scores cheapies though Dahl's and others hard work...

    Team Effort

Re: Great Effort Boys! Went to the game last night and was happy with the performance we dished up. The only thing is we need another target in the forward line to at least make a contest. Someone like that Campbell in the pre season and even Skinner is a real live wire who can take a pack...

Re-Branding the Bulldogs .. West Melbourne or Footscray not Western

Thanks Shemp 54, to be honest I can't even remember, I just remember always supporting the club which has been hard being in Adelaide considering both Adelaide teams have been successful since their inception, but I'd never swap the dogs for any club they mean too much to me.

Re-Branding the Bulldogs .. West Melbourne or Footscray not Western

Hey guys this is my first post on the forum, I've been a reader for about 6 months now. I hope the club stays as the bulldogs. I'm 18 now and have supported the club since I was 5 years old just because the logo of the bulldog on the jumper caught my eye as a child and as everyone would know...
