Oh this hurts so much :( McDonald just had to chuck a sickie this week when his BE would've covered that difference for sure....now Mitchell will pull away next week :(

need some advice on wrapping this round up...currently 38 points ahead and have POD players vlastuin, leuenberger and staker left to play. my opponents got houli and deledio....but also got vlastuin as an emergency to fill his hartlett donut. we both have ablett as captain....should i ride it...

huh so my defense bench cover is gone for the year in clisby and ryder was offered a one match ban. glad i have a bye this week having already booked a spot in the preliminaries.

No trades left. Got into the preliminaries this week but based on my opposition I probably won't make it into the finals unless they get a suspension or injury along the way.

Finished on 2032 courtesy of Carlos Danger's 101. But jeez, more than a few players were literally at rock bottom to compound my captain fail. Can't see this round having a very high average.

Dangerfield 59 at HT. Safely won everything this week. It wasn't pretty though.

With Essendon/WC finished I saw that I needed Dangerfield to score at least 44 points to win me the round. I think to myself "psh, he's probably halfway there this qtr alone" Dangerfield at qtr time: 11 points :rolleyes:

this match incredibly low scoring for all the pod players im monitoring at ht Me: ryder: 34 opponent: cox: 36, jjk: 21 the exception is priddis with 48 who i thankfully own.

At this point my match is right on the edge of anyones game: Priddis, Ryder, Dangerfield vs Cox, JJK, +86 point difference What are my chances? BTW if Goddard is a late out I'll get Clisby's 73 while my opponent gets Yarran's 34 so I know at that point I've got it locked...but what do people...

86 points behind with ryder, dangerfield and priddis left to play for me. my opponent meanwhile has cox and jjk. the real joke is that if jack, bartel and shaw even gave average performances i'd already have this round in the bag and he set for the prelims. premium players my ass.

huh i just saw sam dwyer (my opponents buddy cover) is sitting in the vest of death. didn't even need to blow my last trade after all. and here i thought it was trade or die.

Hoping Pyke dominates in the ruck tonight. Arguably my biggest POD and he's due for a return to form.

good lord griffen hit his projected with a qtr of power and gibbs actually broke 80. that might as well have erased any uncertainty i have for this week. and if goddard really is a late out i'm expecting my clisby backup to easily eclipse my opponents yarran and his 33.

had to since it's probably the only way I can possibly win this week :P though now i'm in the no trades left club so i'd better not cop injuries between the prelim final and now :(

didn't work for me. went omeara > dangerfield and it ate my trade. no reversal option either lol

i have to test this. edit: are reversals possible during partial lockout?

unless kieren jack pulls a rabbit out of the hat i've sure as hell lost this week. who'd have thought at 3/4 time gibbs would've surpassed bartel and be on track for scoring higher than griffen:rolleyes: and on top of that, deledio had to get two freakishly high scores back to back right after...

Ditto. Going to give him till 3/4 time before I send Mike Pyke back in and rule out the loophole.

I'm not sure what's more depressing: That Bartel score or it looks like I'm going to have to rely on Rowe having a class game for Carlton to make up for it above his projected 59.

i didn't go for dorko because his name reminds me of one of my most hated cartoon characters as a kid: orko. looks like my intuition was right, he's just as annoying as his namesake.

But there's also generous (in some time excessive) bonuses for the final goal of the match right? I remember Heppell got one during a landslide and gained 25 or so points out of nowhere to hit the 90's.
