You missed a couple of decent ones; Sam Grimley (39) - Allen Christenson (40) Mitch Hallahan (38) - Luke Parker (40) Ryan Shoenmakers (16) - Luke Shuey (18) Alex Litherland (55) - Alex Johnson (57) Hopeless article.

Opinion Who will improve most in 2015?

It's a moot point, but maybe both of you should read the OP?

Opinion Who will improve most in 2015?

Well actually the purpose of the thread is who will become an invaluable member of the team, for example Nev or Pedo last year, or Dunn in previous years. No point on arguing how good he will be because in essence , but anyone who has ever watched him play most of his footy in the last couple...

Opinion Who will improve most in 2015?

Spencer is a genuinely good ruckman. It's all dependent on what he can add to the team after the initial tap out, but her does possess some aerobic capabilities at the very least. Still confused on what's been said about Dom Barry. He already plays on the wing, and does very, very little. Not...

    Dangerfield to Melbourne

I was under the same impression as this But then again I just realised we traded Sylvia Compensation for Bernie last season. Ignore that

    Dangerfield to Melbourne

Might as well correct myself before someone else does, i seem to recall something about not being able to trade a Free Agency compensation

    Dangerfield to Melbourne

This is simply not true. With Clarke, and more than likely Frawley, going (as well as only paying the bare minimum 92.5% of the Salary cap last year), we have ample funds to facilitate a trade for any player. Dees will not trade 2 AND 3 this off season - if we do indeed get #3. To my knowledge...

Mega Thread 2014 Free Agency and Trade discussion

Jamar has definitely one, possibly two years. Howe is a much better forward, but even so when you have guys like Dunn, Howe and Garlo all who can go forward if need be, it's even less of a necessity to keep Fitzy. and Hogan may not have played any games, but fitzy has a grand total of about 15...

Mega Thread 2014 Free Agency and Trade discussion

Just depends on how many they want to take i guess. But off the top of my head - Dawes, Hogan, Gawn, Jamar, Pederson and Howe are all ahead of him in that department.

Amusing, but when the guy that is showing him up is younger than he is it becomes less so.

At least you sound like you know something about what you are talking about. Probably gone a bit early on kingy i will admit, but either way it will be largely irrelevent when he is gone at the end of last year. Fitzy doesnt listen to what the coaches tell him, and makes some mind boggling...

Dependant on how Gawny pulls up. Fitzy may get very lucky.

Fitzy is as dumb as they come, and is going no where. Even the Casey Coaches dont want him in the team. King isn't up to it, poor kid had a bit of an injury this year. But when the Casey 2s other ruckman is showing you up, it's hard to justify a spot

Changes for the Second Test vs England (Adelaide, Dec 5-9)

Not as many as the other two? Khawaja's 8 or 9 vs Norths 20 odd... Where the other two are mid 20's, and North is turning 35. There will be no drastic changes this series, especially if we keep winning. But at some point needs to be moved on to the young guys to get them ready.

Changes for the Second Test vs England (Adelaide, Dec 5-9)

That is how i feel the team should be, however we are obviously not going to change it after winning the first test

Changes for the Second Test vs England (Adelaide, Dec 5-9)

Hughes and Khawaja are the future of Australian top order batting, and they are both left handed. While Khawaja may not deserve a spot right this second, Hughes is a different story

Suppose Trott shouldn't get a game either because he's struggling with the short ball.

What times are they running for the 2km time trial?

Not many teams run them anymore i don't think. Slowly becoming an outdated test, where you can get the same information plus more from other tests

Changes for the Second Test vs England (Adelaide, Dec 5-9)

Rogers Warner Hughes Marsh Clarke Watson Haddin Johnson Harris Siddle Lyon If it was my team, that's how it would look. With Watson only playing if he is bowling. But what would i know, i don't even watch test cricket apparently

Changes for the Second Test vs England (Adelaide, Dec 5-9)

Your stats make it look worse than it is, seeing as he's only had 49 innings in his career and you cut out two of his hundreds, but i get what you are saying. No use giving up on a kid at 24 who absolutely churns out runs at state level, and even ODI's to an extent. Fairly sure he is also...

Changes for the Second Test vs England (Adelaide, Dec 5-9)

Pot calling Kettle black? Yet, I was merely stating that his record doesn't help, noting the difference in averages between red and white ball cricket. I never said he didn't deserve an opportunity to show what he has got. Actually, i'm fairly sure i did the opposite, and said he...

Changes for the Second Test vs England (Adelaide, Dec 5-9)

Define "barely offering a whimper" ? When he first came on to the scene he clearly had deficiencies in his technique against an outswinging ball, hence why his averaged dropped a little. Has corrected this flaw and is a lot better off now that he was dropped back when he was so young. However...

Changes for the Second Test vs England (Adelaide, Dec 5-9)

I know where you are going with this, but in practice i just don't see it working. I really don't understand the hate for Hughes, but obviously wouldn't have he and Warner as the opening pair. While Rogers and Cowan shouldn't be played in the same team. Smith is not a test player, he has very...

Changes for the Second Test vs England (Adelaide, Dec 5-9)

I could go on for days if you really want, but we can just leave it at Hughes being 24 and having 22 First Class Hundreds to his name, with a test average comparable to Shane Watson. The upside on him is enormous. While Marsh is one of, if not the, most talented batsman in the country not to...
