On the off-chance Ryder actually does end up at Brisbane is it worth sussing out Leuenberger? He turned 26 last June so has potentially 4 more solid years. Jamar turned 31 last month.

Problem with players like Leuenberger is we'd have to sign a backup as well to play the other half of the season he spends in surgery. On talent yes, but just not reliable enough. With Jamar 32, Gawn injury prone and Spencer injury and suspension prone, we could sign Leuenberger and still end up playing games with Howe and Pedersen in the ruck.

Fair enough. If a similar (safer) prospect comes up though I hope they look at it.

Unfortunately we're a pretty damn unattractive prospect for a heap of potential recruits, at least we've now got the Roos factor, and hopefully a bit of cash once Frawley leaves.

The only Paddy I want, is Dangerfield (though we can only dream about that one, tbh). Not really interested in Ryder. That and plus, he doesn't want to be in Melbourne anymore. Otherwise, he'd surely stay at the bombers.

Yeah, I don't remember anything of him either. But I noticed his age at 21 and the fact he wants to return to Victoria, so I figured I'd throw his name out and see if anyone knew anything about him lol.

I havent seen any of him really but arent him and his brother just clones of Tom Mcdonald?

Id take him if it was cheap enough but I dont think the frost brothers are gonna solve our kicking out of D50 options
Would be handy KPD depth. Frawley will probably go and Dunn isn't getting any younger.

Hi Guys

I am wondering, do you guys consider Dean Kent available for trade, and if so, what would it (reasonably) take to get him to Carlton ?

Think he has loads of untapped potential TBH

Casboult straight swap

aka no chance we'd do this deal and 'untapped' potential is a bit rich considering he is only a 2nd year player...

Fair enough mate, surprised the media doesn't seem to talk him up much, which is why i thought he may be available.

Anyhow, I think he is going to be a gem of a player, can't blame a bloke for asking though ? :)

Take it with a grain of salt, but I saw this posted:

"Dangerfield will be meeting with Melbourne early next week.

Melbourne are keen to get Dangerfield on an offer of $850-900k per year for 5 years.

Melbourne have proposed trading pick 2 plus compensation pick for Frawley (assuming it's end of 1st round). There may have to be another pick upgrade or players involved to get it over the line but Crows and Dangerfield are considering.

This would help the lack of elite young talent at the Crows after the whole Trigg/Tippet saga."

Matt Burgans top 10 for the BNF

1.Jones
2.Tyson
3.Vince
4.Dunn
5.Howe
6.Cross
7.Frawley
8.Watts
9.Viney
10.Pederson

For mine if Jeremy Howe is one of your best 5 players in the season he has had it shows where we are at as a club

Daniel Cross has been brilliant but a 6th place finish at 31yrs old is a reflection on the rest rather than himself

Frawley, Watts, Viney and Pedo are a very uninspiring bottom 4 .. Jetta deserves to finish equal 4th but might miss out due to lack of games and Rohan Bail is a sneaky chance to get into that top 10

Cant argue with the top 3, Id be very surprised if that wasnt the order
