I’m surprised at some of the negative comments in this thread. I actually thought we played quite well. Granted the skills weren’t always pristine but the change of gameplan was very refreshing. Hopefully it wasn’t just a one off and we can play this style from here on out.

The biggest gripe I’ve always had is that everyone flies for the ball leaving space behind. Bar once or twice we don’t seem to be doing this as much. The pressure has been immense. Hopefully they can keep it up.

While I agree with that last sentiment, I don't think this will do too much damage. We've had nigh on 3 months of finals like pressure games. I think this kind of game was well overdue. Players not too banged up but general intensity was good all day bar that 3rd quarter.
