Its ridiculous to be honest. I have been one of Tippetts harshest critics and it has been mainly for a lack of intensity which obviously is the main component of effort your producing but FFS today as well as last week he tried his guts out and actually was productive with his marks forward and hitting the scoreboard. Some people have very short memories because Naismith has not been able to produce anything like that in recent weeks. Tippett may still cook his own goose but Credit where credit is due I say. Calling for him to be dropped on his effort today is either just plain footy ignorance or taking your disappointment of a players output to immature personal levels. McVeigh has suffered this fate his whole career on this Board by a certain few and like I said it is just plain ridiculous.

Hope Newman is ok, he's been going well. They said he could run in straight lines but not change direction. Fingers crossed no structural damage to the knee.

Playing witches hats probably isn't the best preparation for playing the Crows next week, but bring them on.

By a mile and the worst part is it is not through lack of effort because he runs his guts out it is purely because of his **** ups. Wrong option time and time again.

While I agree with that last sentiment, I don't think this will do too much damage. We've had nigh on 3 months of finals like pressure games. I think this kind of game was well overdue. Players not too banged up but general intensity was good all day bar that 3rd quarter.
