What are everyone's thoughts on the 22 under 22 side posted by Mark Pope?
I think a little biased towards his Anakie Team-Mates.
Jack Yates, Jared Fletcher and Josh Sloan a bit stiff to miss out also
I completely agree, Thomson will make finals and beat North in the elimination.
West to win two games but i think Anakie will struggle to beat East this week. Too many injuries and once they lose hope they will become undisciplined and not play their best football which they need to be able to...
Tips for this week
Anakie over Belmont by 22
Winch over Werribee by 15
Bannockburn over North by 60
Inverliegh over Thomson by 72
East over Corio by 75
Bell Post over West by 70
Seen him play wing and midfield in the 2 or 3 games i've seen of Bell Post this year. But your right he does spend a lot of time forward so maybe doesn't count aha
Top 3 midfielders in the competition i think are Hutchison from Inva, Brauman from Banno and Barlow from Bell Post
Top 3 forwards i reckon are Kennedy-Hunt from Inva, Ettridge from Bell Post and Tom from Banno
I think they are spot on with putting Cam Addie as number 1
But i think Mitch White from Anakie needs more recognition. Only one person had him in there.
Lymer from Bell Post, Mathieson from North and Best from Inva also up there as best defenders
Anyone have any thoughts on how the Anakie vs Werribee game should be handled. The situation is that Werribee wanted to have a twilight game so Anakie agreed to help them out as it was a large crowd drawing game. Werribee were 12 points up late in the 3rd and the lights have gone out with...
Tips for this week
West over Belmont by 15
North over Winch by 35, after last week's shock loss i reckon they will be pretty pumped this week.
Bell Post over Corio by 150
Inverleigh over East by 140
Bannockburn over Thompson by 60
Anakie over Werribee by 10 points
I've heard Anakie and Corio used to spend a bit of money but have had to cut back due to financial pressures and realizing their money was going to waste on average footballers.
So do you think they should keep salary cap and points the same across all divisions. Do you think that would work because i think clubs like St Josephs and St Marys have more money than like your Newcomb, Anakie and Corio's. So they could pay more for players, so some of those Division 1 and 2...
I assume they would create a new salary cap and points system for the three divisions and if you were to drop or go up a division then you would either have to decrease spending if you drop or have the possibility to increase spending if your club can afford it if you go up. They probably would...
Maybe the powerhouses of Geelong Local footy would survive but i think most clubs in the GDFL and BFL would really struggle to separate. But i appreciate your opinion, and think it would be useful to trial for a year but i just don't think its possible in this instance.
I don't like most of what Roscreas says but i think in this instance he is right. I don't think it is possible to separate the football and netball. I think that having them both in the same spot every week helps keep the crowds at a level that keeps some clubs open. Separating them means...

Anakie over Corio by 32 points
Inverleigh over Winchelsea by 60 Points
Bell Post Hill over North Geelong by 50 points
Bannockburn over East Geelong by 100 points
Geelong West Giants over Thompson by 25 points
Belmont over Werribee by 10 points
Anyone see Anakie vs Werribee on the weekend? Anakie as good as they've been saying all off season or Werribee not as good as predicted by the addy?
Also apparently Fairchild from Anakie that kicked 5 and Jones from Werribee that kicked 4 are both young guys, anyone know where there from and how...
