This block of games is notorious for being hard for young bodies; dont have the power to go on the soft turf. Should see some better games round 21-23 when the grounds harden up.
Look its honestly probably his groin, with a history of issues he was probably just doing a check up. He even said as much during the interview with channel 7.
I would agree with the salary cap; one extra list spot thats an extra cash in the bank to make a run at a player (lynch). Also we can bank salary and then go over next year.
Means that the player will need to be given a senior spot; may not see any players that are worth that salary or with cap considerations in mind prefer to get rookie deals.
With the changes in the CBA regarding rookie players and their eligibility to play senior games without injuries I think youll see a change in the way the draft is approached. The ND will be for the best x-factor/mids/general players while the rookie draft will be used for mature KPPs who have...
That reminds me of something pendles was saying about schaz last year; that rehab is a very lonely place and you dont truely feel part of the team at all. So considering he has spent alot of time the past two years in rehab this might just who he is being actually able to flourish.
This exactly, I mean look at goldsack missed all of 2016 preseason and played catch all year to the point people thought he could be delisted. 2017 he did the entire preseason and he ended up having probably close to his best year for the club.
And thats why they are going to give him a very long leash; he has shown glimpses of it at VFL level just needs to be told that a spot is his for the taking. I've noticed at VFL level and also training if there is a senior player doing his drill/going for a clearance contested ball, he would d...
He was the 3rd best in the league last year 1v1 in defence. His defensive work is really underrated and his leadership in setting up structures we were a completely different team. If he played from round 1 this year id argue we would have won 3 more games. Huge 2018 for him I feel.
Considering the changes to the rules surrounding rookies following the new CBA which is they dont need to wait for injury to play, then there is no difference anymore between the two except for pay and contract lengths.
The Collingwood Football Club has today informed Lachlan Keeffe, Henry Schade, Liam Mackie and Mitch McCarthy they will not be offered contracts for the 2018 season.
Delisting have started
I think a good point to realise is that for the majority of the past 2 years he has been injured, so has been part of the rehab group. Reminds me of what pendles said about schaz that its a lonley place and being part of it doesnt really make you feel like part of the team heres hoping he can...
Considering his size, and his age (hes still not 20 and only 4 months older than brown) youd keep him on the senior list, he was always going to be a project player and in training hes shown flashes.
How are we rating Max lynch as a viable ruckman moving forward? Seems in the vision to be quite good with his ruck craft (often tapping into laps of our players); would be one to be promoted next year or with the abolition of the cat A rookie list does he automatically get his spot on the senior...
What I think people dont realise is how young he actually is, hes 3 months older than Brown and missed most of last year and this with injury. You can see the potential there just bubbling under the surface.
I doubt she will have time; it looks like her last article written was just before it was announced she was joining GWS. I really hope she does though, her stuff is brilliant.
Obviously 2 handballs in a half and repeatably going to ground means you get to keep your spot, if there is a bigger barometer of how we are as a club, than blair I dont know what it is. Simply if we wont to be moving up the ladder he cant keep playing, when you have guys like crocker and brown...
