Great work Craegus. Just one point, AFL Russia logo should be in Gold not yellow. AFL Russia has a corporate standards book and if anyone who's doing stuff for Russian clubs needs it I can send it to you. Also, it would be really cool if Russian teams could have an original logo made for them...
#3 is nice try, but needs a little bit more to become everyone's favorite. First on Lion itself, the end of tail looks like tulip, the #1 Lion has great tail, and feet are looking like pigs feet... Costa, do a bit more research with real Lion photos. Then I would make those colors look more like...
Griff,
Don't think I forgot, I'm working on it. Just need some info: Do you by any chance have a brief of what WB are expecting for the new crest? I mean are they after something minimalist and modern (new Freo), or something that will tell the whole history throughout the crest (new Demons)...
Re: tiger concepts
Mowse, this is brilliant, I love it, specially the 3rd one. No I don't think Richmond would take that, but it's so creative. Great work.
Mate,
could I get into contention to rebrand the Western Bulldogs brand next year?
Check out my stuff: lockerroom51.posterous.com
Let me know.
Kolja Koracak
This is new Richmond logo. I assume Cato Design did it (cato.com.au) as it's the same style as Hawks and Geelong that they did. It's an upgrade for sure, but just missing the link to a Richmond's history.
What do you reckon? :thumbsu: or :thumbsd:???
Plan B is one of the best sports branding studios currently, in a class with SME, Davidson, John Bosak and Studio Simon. The interview must be old as they show some old stuff they did. I admire they work and it's inspiring for sure. They run a blog where all designers can submit their work and...
As I type, Brett is still in Croatia, tomorrow going back to Milano. Today we played a match, and Brett covered as a coach for both teams. Yesterday he led a training section.
It's been great getting to know the champ and learning so much from him.
I like your logo style, but not the way it's cut. It is innovative, but it's just doesn't work for me. Here's my take. The logo was designed few years ago for a Finnish footy team that doesn't exist anymore.
Just wanted to share what we did tonight. We placed 15 banners all over Zagreb, at every bridge or overpass in the city. The banner has written: imasmuda.com, which in croatian means got ball. So if you go to http://imasmuda.com/ you'll see a video. After the funny video there is two answers on...
Re: My take on Carlton new logo and jumpers
I just don't like monochrome look, all blue. I mean I can make shorts blue, too keep the tradition, but instead of messing up the jumper I just made shorts white. In that case, Carlton will always play in white shorts, at home (because they choose...
Re: My take on Carlton new logo and jumpers
Here are few more revisions. So he new accent color is that cream you suggested, logo on the jumper is smaller, and I added a wordmark for the logo.
Re: My take on Carlton new logo and jumpers
Mero, so what should you use as an accent color.. I like InCase's idea of pale yellow, but if there is a color that would make Carlton's historians happier, I would rather use that color.
Re: My take on Carlton new logo and jumpers
Mate, this is NOT Carlton's new logo, it's just my idea, what would I like to see Carlton adopt, as I think it looks better, classier and honors the past. As for the jumper, I can remove Mars or make it smaller, that's the least that matters, but I...
I reckon Carlton is in need of a new crest. This one is based on an old crest from probably 1920s. Also I just took that CFC and placed it on the home jumper, while I redesigned the clash jumper a bit.
