Don't forget Port Adelaide. There the two teams I care about beating every year.
As far as the month from hell goes has anyone else head bout the BIG in St.Kilda is expecting rd 15. Cos beating them wasn't going to be tough enough as it was.
I was reading a copy of Inside Football from the week before the Richmond game and it was intersting to note that up until then he had kicked 33 (i think) goals from the season so far. This puts him in the top 15 or so for all AFL listed players playing in either the AFL or state football...
I can think of a few reasons. The majoor one being the AFL wants to trial a different timeslots before the inclusion of GWS and GC.
Also at the start of the year they would have seen this as a good chance to expose Brisbane in the southern markets. They probably would have assumed that this was...
Probably the wisest thing written in this thread. Every year the same tags are placed upon the premiers, "furture dynasty", "will only get better next year", "hard to see who'll stop them next season" etc. the fact of the matter is that Brisbane has been the only team who has actually been able...
The was a goal that Aaron Davey kicked against Freo where he had the ball at half foward, baulked the man on the mark, dodged another bloke, had a couple of bounces and kicked a goal.
I think that is the best on of have seen so far this yr.
Fev's on the weekend would be second for me thus...
That's the rason my mates and I went today. None of us cared about the result. But do kick on the G after the game was great fun.
Somehow we lost 2 footballs in all the chaos tho... Started with 3 ended with 1. Still Awesome fun! :D
It has been bucketing down rain in Melbourne for a good hour now and looking out my window the skies still look very gloomy.
I know geelong is a fantastic wet weather side but given our form in the wet this year I can't help but think that this could be benifical to us. I'm hoping that it...
whats are ppl dressing up as?
me and a few of my mates are going as the wiggles. but another couple of my mates are still looking for ideas. has anyone got any?
I'm thinking that they could be a bit more like the hawks. They will finish 5 or 6th and hopefully win their first final. Then 2009 will be there big year. From a supporters perspective it's certainly an exciting time coming up.
Johnstone, Mcmahon, Symes, Hadley and obviously Judd will all all come in to calculations for me next year.
Also Wood is an interesting one, could be a good cash cow. Will almost definitely start in round one and should get plenty of game time too.
Interested in peoples thoughts on the trav johnstone to brisbane for pick #14. who do you think got the better deal?
As a lions supporter i'm still not 100% sure on how i feel about the deal. Two first round picks would have been nice, but Johnstone is now our 5th best mid (behind Black...
Pretty sure that Sherman still has a year or two to run on his contract, so Brisbane won't be looking to trade him. So Roos may as well forget about him.
Have Bentick and Walsh actually been delisted?
I know Walsh has been injury prone, but what about Bentick? how old is he? I would have thought that he would have still had a fair bit to offer Carlton.
Each club has been required to nominate 2 players for the AFLPA MVP and interestly we have nominated, Browny (no suprise) and Simon Black.
Whilst i am not disagreeing with this it is interesting to note that Blacky has been nominated by the club ahead of Jed and Lappin both of whom were in...
