Re: Footy classified just started
Missed the very start and very end....thompson et al, but saw the dogfight about Hutchy going to LA.......***** they were all having a fair dinkum crack at each other.
The body language of Laidley was terrific.......it was saying "I hate your guts Wayne" He...
Whose Perception? Are you serious? Everyone interested in football is talking about this.
I just hope the AFL get serious about drug testing.
Hope you aren't suffering from WestCoastius Persecutionitis Exy???
Have a good weekend.
Bushy :p
Exeter, I don't believe I am rumourmongering. I am simply saying that the perception of wrongdoing is hanging over the club and that is what has got everyone fired up.
Of course it is silly to say that Sydney should be awarded the cup, but the thing is this whole sad saga is going to hopefully...
With all due respect Exeter, this is exactly what a lot are thinking. It is fact that Cousins at least lied to Worsfolds face. It is open to interpretation that there were possibly more players that lied to him as well. It must be hard for Worsfold to now look at his list and see who he can and...
Yes, very convincing indeed. Ben Cousins lied to John Worsfold.
I don't think anyone can underestimate the drug problem and to what extent addicts will go to protect themselves.
Woosha touched on "trust" last night. I actually feel a bit sorry for him, it is classic example of what I have...
Ok, to be thinking out loud again........
I don't want to give away what I do for a living but lets just say I have come into contact with drug effected and drug dependant persons on a daily basis and have for the last 16 years.
Drug addicts, generally do not care about anyone else but...
For Oak and DiscoDuck.
Not trying to be a smartar*se, but I'm just throwing up a hypothetical question.
I agree that by having a couple of cones on matchday would hardly be performance enhancing.......having said that remember "The Club" hehehe. What I am trying to say is that in light of...
I'm not making things up......What I am saying is that the drug testing is flawed. The whole drugs issue has opened up a huge can of worms and like I said in the original post, I'm just playing the devils advocate here and looking at different scenario's.
I think if a player is found to...
If as John Worsfold alluded to on last nights footy show, he knew about some players with drug problems since July.
Would it be outside the realms of possibility that some players were using some sort of performance enhancing drug up to and including the Grand Final?
I know this is never...
He has added a toughness to a side that was perceived to be a bit soft a couple of years ago.
All the younger Dees seem to walk a bit taller when he is on the field.
He has my respect.
Norm Smith Medal and 2 Premierships....Not too bad.
More "Sunraysia's Own" beat ups.
Our own "Akker".....Played here when he was 7.
Our own "Kelly Brothers" When did they last live here?
Our own "Vandenberg, Hunt" ad nauseum........
Our own ".....insert name here....." Who just happened to fly over here in a plane once or who's parents...
Why the hell would I want to see a retiring player/milestone game...200/300 games, running a lap of honour with his kid on his shoulder? What has the kid ever done? If it was a "Father of the Year" award well perhaps. I just don't get it.
And bringing kids to sit on their knees or hang around...
I like the idea of not knowing how long there is to go in a game. It adds to the tension and excitement.
The shot clock is stupid. If the rule was enforced it would be a different matter.
Is the shot clock rule going to reviewed for next year knowing that it was never enforced this year...
