Agreed
Couldn't believe the ridiculous odds it started in Herbert Power but can't see it winning Melb Cup being ridden cold like that
Won the ebor but other internationals have massive pull in weights from that. Place only
After the French he's surely the next best chance on form
But if i'm playing devil's advocate, maybe it doesn't know how to win.... Only ever done it once before
That and lloyd is a douche
Mourayan...
Ummmmmmmmmmmmm...........................i hope not, but maybe......
Top run in Mackinnon- Lloyd...I mean Hickmott...appears to have worked him out but my feeling is he still lacks the class.
Happy to pot Lucas for the win
Had a setback, which is never ideal for Melb Cup preparation. Then add in that it got outsprinted to the line by Tullamore and I'm prepared to risk it
and on a related note, people get sucked in by the times these american imports run. they only run 1.59 for 2000m because they're on every drug under the sun.
Floyd landis could probably win the melbourne cup as well
not a better horse than the bender
have gotten into trouble potting metrop winners in the past (see Railings, Tawqeet- both dud horses but won Caul Cups), but I'm gonna do it again. Belted them but 2nd was mourayan who i'm not sold on at all
hey all, it must be spring again
If history's taught us anything surely it's to not discount the tough-as-nails Japanese horses. Fujita will have it 4 off the fence but you know it'll run out the trip
Changingoftheguard
Ebor run looked massive but geez it went terribly in the St Leger. Everything's gotta go right to win a Melb cup and it certainly hasn't for this horse.
Obviously some unknowns, but happy to risk it given the preparation it's had
