Hearing some sad rumours that we have lost one of our legends of the club today. Haven't heard anything else from media yet so won't be releasing the name. Hoping it's not true but has anyone else heard anything?
Also just at the end, the main group did a big run around the block, oval, etc. most stayed together but by the end bates and Bews had dropped off. Not sure if I'm going a bit early on this, but really hope Bews has a big pre season as I thought he was very good for the first 10 weeks of the...
Went down for a quick look. Cowan and McCarthy running laps, geez mccarthy looked rip, big arms. Stanley did some sprint work, then just a bit of ball skills in the middle.
Hard to see what else was going on, hats on, lots of other staff, etc. could see cockatoo, Smedts, lang, bates, Delaney...
Andrew Gaze is the village idiot of both SEN and fox footy. If he is somehow right, then let this trade period forever be known as the Curse of the Gaze
What I know does not involve Crown, nor any other Geelong players for that matter. It's more eye raising, than worrying so I am not to concerned about it
I believe this stems from Good Friday. Wouldn't really call it an incident, more of a poor decision, especially only 3 days out from the season opener against the reigning premiers.
Glad to see the club take this stance with such a crucial game coming up this weekend and I believe Steve will...
Grant Tanner - champion mullett
Brent Moloney - pains me to see him run around for the bruise-free's but this trade was more than justified.
Paul Lynch - an early model Steve J with a screwed back.
Clint Bizzell - God II
Was reading the AFL Guide to Season 2012 and it has Hamling and McCarthy both listed as Indigenous. Not sure if this is well known or not, but it was news to me
Re: 2011 Geelong list changes
Did the AFL bring in an Inactive List for 2011? If so, would Adam Varcoe be eligible to go onto that? Seems odd that they would delist a talented bloke whos just done a knee when he could have stayed on the Rookie List for another season. Particularly with his...
the great grant tanner!
tom harley, jimmy bartel, andrew mackie, josh hunt, james kelly, kane tenace, joel corey, steve johnson, cameron mooney, matthew scarlett, darren milburn, corey enright, kent kingsley, stephen handley, aaron lord, matthew mccarthy, sean simpson, paul chambers, adam...
was at the game today. will give a run down of the listed players involved
allwright - did a few nice things particluar early but faded later. solid
donohue - did some great things but also did some poor things, which may have cost a couple of goals.
gamble - didnt like his game at all...
Does anyone know if i would need to pre-book tickets for this match. I was planning on going when the gate opens and just use my membership whilst others would buy general admission and wed go sit in the general admission are. Is the game ticketed?
Re: The Essence of the Game
thought it was absolutly sensational. even from a geelong supporters point of view! has really got me pumped for next friday night and the rematch.
hope that it becomes available on dvd
My Brilliant Career - Nathan Ablett
