I was suprised they gave the Norm Smith to Hayes today. Your right, Goddard is an absolute champion (always has been in my mind) and deserved BOG today. Thought he got robbed of that.
I think they should not have rewarded a Norm Smith anyway, at least wait until we have a friggin result in...
I hope he doesn't get reported. But I watched the game again today, it actually did look like a deliberate trip. He knew it as well, he went to apologise straight away. He will be protected... Its Saint Nick
Read between the lines dude....
Most Pies fans have said they would rather have both sides having their best players on the field. Stop making crap up. Its the inconsistencies of the tribunal is a farce which is what most are going on about. Realistically, it should be no different if its...
Flower-girl? Lame
I am worried about the incident with Daisy, I do believe he was diving for the ball but if he did make head contact, then he could be in trouble. They have been enforcing that rule all year whether it was accidental or not.
Goddard, Gilbert and possibly Riewoldt will...
I think you will find that most supporters from opposition would want to see him play, the rules and tribunal are a farce. But them the rules.......
Ohh... I dont focus on the hate... that is Bomber Thompson
Might have to go back and look at the match again and check it out (recorded it). Even if it is reckless, its still reportable.
Think the tribunal could be looking into a few incidents from this match. Would be a pity to see anyone rubbed out pre-GF but we have been there before (Cloke). I...
Yes tripping still is a reportable offence if it is deliberate. Comes under 19.2.2 Specific Offences:
Any of the following types of conduct is a Reportable Offence:
(g) intentionally, recklessly or negligently:
(i) kicking another person;
(ii) striking another person;
(iii) tripping...
Re: WANTED: Grand Final tickets 2010
I got a free ticket to the GF................. :P And I aint going to give it up for any of you scavengers.. not even for your grandmother... GO THE PIES!.
hahaha.... even still... always get nervous playing you guys. Doesn't matter where we are on the ladder.. always have good contests, especially Anzac day.
The guy is a Champion, is the best going around. Love watching him play, very fast and silky skills.
He played a brilliant game tonight, its just the other influential players on the Geelong team were shut down. He had nothing to go to.
Football is a funny game and can change dramatically, but by god they look good out there. Playing a high pressure brand of football that is awesome to watch. One match at a time...... just one more to go and I'll be happy!. GO THE PIES
ha, funny stuff. Was only going through my old posting history (have been absent for awhile). Didn't even realise the dates on the thread as i don't go looking for that. yes you are right, now that you point it out, it is quite old.
Either way, what a lame thread
I will agree with you that the Jolly incident was not reportable as he was going for the ball, however he did make head contact and should have been awarded a free kick at least, all within the rules. Umpire didn't see it, so he didn't pay it, such is life.
Im not going to sit here and argue...
1. Very observant of you, yes I am on the Hawks page, wow.
2. Majority of your members here have whinged about it which I find quite amusing. Yes there are the few who have stated it went both ways but have a read and you will find most do not quote that.
3. Are you referring to the...
Funny reading the comments posted here, you guys are hilarious. The umpring was pretty bad BOTH ways, take the blinkers off guys.
Its no different to any other week, any other game. Its football, get over it. Such is life. Have you forgotten that you actually won the game?
This is no guide at all too go on. It means absolutely nothing! People seem to forget what some teams use the Preseason for.
Congrats to Port for the win which had their good side in. But I woudnt use this as a guide as to what you will expect. From what I have seen by the likes of...
